Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Salary 55K
Location: Hybrid
Candidate must reside within or near Merrillville, Gary, Mishawaka, Indiana markets.

In the TA Recruiter role, you will contribute to the company's commitment to serve others by recruiting and hiring employees in support of the daily operations of the business unit while ensuring qualified and diverse applicant pools.
- Perform recruitment activities such as sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, etc.
- Draft employment ads and determine appropriate external sources to recruit qualified applicants
- Develop and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies such as advertising campaigns, job fairs, and school programs
- Analyze recruitment and retention results for reporting to management
- Coordinate new hire orientation/onboarding programs, maintain confidential documents and employee files, and track applicants and corresponding documentation
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with others
- Technically savvy with demonstrated knowledge of best practices with social media, applicant tracking systems, and Excel
- Strong commitment to the company's mission and values
- Ability to interpret metrics and make appropriate recommendations

It follows a remote-first model with occasional on-site expectations, preferably for someone based in Northwest Indiana. Travel to facilities may be required quarterly, with corporate facilities located in Merryville, IN, and Fulton Market (in Chicago). Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing staffing support to various departments within the organization. This role involves managing the entire hiring process from vacancy identification to the placement of new hires. The position is considered a hybrid role, primarily remote with occasional on-site requirements, and reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the full-cycle recruitment efforts for specified positions.
+ Create and post job descriptions via various media platforms.
+ Source applicant resumes to find potential matches for open vacancies.
+ Interview job applicants and make recommendations to hiring managers.
+ Coordinate and schedule follow-up interviews as needed.
+ Facilitate feedback sessions and lead the decision-making process.
+ Extend job offers to selected candidates.
+ Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork using the Paycom Applicant Tracking system.
+ Coordinate the post-offer screening and background check process.
+ Ensure new hires receive all necessary information for orientation and starting their position.
+ Analyze employment-related data and prepare necessary reports.
+ Attend external recruitment events and job fairs to represent and build the organization's brand.
Essential Skills
+ 1-3 years of previous experience in Talent Acquisition.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
+ Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, with familiarity in Paycom preferred.
+ Ability to build and foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Ability to manage full-cycle recruiting processes.
+ Strong relationship management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Workday as a secondary ATS preference.
+ Willingness to travel domestically 2-4 times a year for recruitment events.
+ Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
+ Experience in both operational and scientific recruiting is advantageous.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
