We will rely on you for :
  • Overall support for the Talent Acquisition team:
    • Interview scheduling : schedule candidates with interview team according to calendar availability and communicate the schedule to all parties. In the case of onsite interviews, would coordinate travel for the candidate.
    • Offer letters: prepare and send out offer letters with supporting documents to selected candidates and follow through to onboarding
    • Background searches: initiate the background search and follow through on the process until cleared and communicated.
    • Workday ATS (Applicant Tracking System): experience is helpful and preferred
    • Process all TA invoices
    • Liaising with the IT department : ensure equipment is delivered to the candidate in time for their start date
    • Support special projects that may need assistance.
What you need for success:
  • College degree with 0-1+ year work experience OR
  • High School diploma with at least 2 years of professional work experience interacting with people or providing a support service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to adapt and learn
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook and familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition is a plus
  • Experience using Workday or any applicant tracking system is a plus

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in the day-to-day execution of hiring processes. This position works closely with our Talent Acquisition Manager, Human Resources team, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing and reviewing resumes, interview scheduling, and candidate communications;
  • Assist in drafting and editing job descriptions and advertisements;
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and candidate databases;
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to gather availability and schedule interviews (Teams, phone, or in-person);
  • Track candidate progress and ensure timely follow-up throughout the hiring process;
  • Assist with background checks, reference checks, and onboarding documentation as needed;
  • Manage internal recruitment inboxes and respond to candidate inquiries; and
  • Support continuous improvements to recruitment processes, templates, and documentation.
Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of experience in a human resources or recruitment support role (internship experience will be considered);
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred majors include Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field;
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams);
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HRIS platforms is a plus;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information; and
  • Ability to work daily in an in-person office atmosphere
Benefits:

The Manager, Talent Acquisition – MedTech Complex Capital Commercial will be responsible for shaping and delivering talent acquisition strategies for global Capital Commercial across multiple business units and product platforms within the MedTech space. This role will be within our Robotics & Digital Practice Talent Acquisition team and report directly into the Head of Talent Acquisition, Surgery.

This highly collaborative and results focused leader will play a critical role partnering closely with Senior Business and HR leaders, Total Rewards, Global Services HR, Corporate Services HR and Business Unit HR to develop and deliver talent acquisition insights and outcomes.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Turning the business’ people and complex capital commercial capability strategies into an actionable talent acquisition plan with flawless execution and world class delivery. 
  • Hands on development and execution of high touch and proactive direct recruitment for Complex Capital Sales for all levels up through Executive.  
  • Drive the E2E talent acquisition strategy and consistently represent the TA story through metrics to HR leadership and appropriate business partners.
  • Directly support the Global Heads of Talent Acquisition for each of our Business Units in driving the end-to-end TA strategy for Complex Capital Commercial for the MedTech Sector.
  • Apply deep capital commercial acumen to mentor and influence hiring managers in the most critical talent insights.
  • Stay largely connected with the external Complex Capital Commercial community, positioning oneself and the team as established professionals with deep expertise, strong business network, relevant social media presence, knowledge and attendance of events and seminars. This position will be heavy commercial recruitment and pipeline building from industry competitors.
  • Cultivate a high level of candidate care & service during all stages of the recruiting process. Craft long term relationships by acting as a career mentor and becoming part of his/her network while building a healthy pipeline of passive talent for future opportunities.
  • Serve as an ambassador for our Inclusion strategy and foster a culture of inclusion within the team and the broader J&J organization.

Qualifications - External

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of direct full life cycle recruitment experience required.
  • Complex Capital or Surgical Robotics Sales recruitment experience is required.
  • Experience recruiting Executive level positions is required.

The Professional Development Lead will design, coordinate, and deliver a series of four full-day workshops aimed at preparing youth participants (ages 16–20) for careers in environmental protection, sustainability, and green jobs. This role blends hands-on facilitation, light content development, and coordination with project staff and guest speakers. The workshops will be held on the Stevens campus on Fridays between July 18 - August 15, 2025.

The ideal candidate has experience in workforce development, education, or youth programming, and is passionate about helping young people gain the professional tools, confidence, and exposure they need to thrive in the green economy.

1. Design & Development (Early July 2025):

  • Develop and plan four full-day professional development workshops.

  • Create session flows, outlines, and accompanying instructional materials.

  • Prepare handouts, resume and cover letter templates, and reflection tools.

  • Coordinate content, timing, and logistical needs with guest speakers and industry partners.

2. Onsite Delivery (Fridays, July 18 – August 8, 2025):

  • Facilitate four in-person workshops (9:30 AM – 5:00 PM) on the Stevens campus.

  • Lead interactive sessions on:

    • Resume writing

    • Cover letter development

    • Career exploration and trends in green jobs

    • Professionalism, communication, and goal setting

  • Support final project brainstorming and preparation activities.

  • Manage pre-session setup and post-session debriefs with the team.

  • Ensure timely submission and printing of completed resumes and cover letters for all participants.

3. Consulting & Administration:

  • Attend pre-program planning meetings with program staff.

  • Track participant progress and engagement during the workshop series.

  • Collect and integrate feedback from youth and partners.

  • Prepare a short summary report, documenting outcomes and recommendations.

Compensation Range

In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the semi-monthly base range for this position is $2,750. This range represents the University’s good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials.
