POSITION SUMMARY


Our Retail Stock Manager is a strategic, process-driven leader who is obsessed with creating efficiency, precision and flow behind the scenes. This person leads all back-of-house operations while also serving as a liaison between the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring accuracy and communication across both. Working closely with the General Manager and Store Managers, the Retail Stock Manager owns all things inventory, from shipment processing, RFID scanning and replenishment reporting to cycle counts and shrink mitigation.


They lead and develop a team of Stock Leads and Stock Associates to execute seamlessly, spending roughly 80% of their time in the stockroom and 20% on the sales floor to keep operations aligned. RESPONSIBILITIES


-Lead back-of-house operations, including shipment processing, product flow, stockroom organization, RFID scanning and replenishment reporting

-Ensure inventory accuracy and shrink prevention across stockroom and sales floor

-Partner with Team Leaders to meet sales floor needs through timely replenishment and merchandising execution

-Maintain a clean, organized stockroom that supports efficiency

-Train, develop and coach Stock Leads and Stock Associates to uphold brand and operational standards

-Spend ~20% of time supporting sales floor productivity and ensuring alignment between front and back-of-house

-Lead seasonal and promotional readiness through inventory prep, product launches, and events

-Partner cross-functionally with Visual Manager and HQ Operations on inventory needs, launches and new processes

-Step into sales floor support as needed during high-traffic periods


COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


-High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. Availability to regularly work a range of shifts that could start up to 3 hours before store open or end up to 3 hours after store close.

-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

-Excellent leadership and communication skills.

-Ability to motivate and inspire associates to achieve their goals.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.


Salary banding: $60,000-75,000 annually

**Position Summary:**
**A Brief Overview What you will do:**
+ Compiles and reconciles discrepancies found with book inventory to ensure products remain in-stock. Determines the root cause of inventory variances. Communicates deviations from expected outcomes to internal teams.
+ Processes returns, warranty claims, recalls, expired materials, and/or exchanges for the distribution department through an internal electronic system.
+ Conducts cycle counts of all inventories for domestically and internationally shipped items, as well as intermittent counts requested by Management, Buyers, Accounting, Merchandise Billing, or Production.
+ Collaborates with corporate to ensure all seasonal inventory is sized, billed, and shipped to stores on time.
+ Processes damaged stock items within the distribution department and repairs items to stock when possible.
+ Audits team performance within the distribution department and reports performance evaluations with feedback with recommendations.
+ Measures and prepares new inventory for stock, corrects sizing discrepancies in stock, and optimizes inventory placement in the distribution center for ergonomics and pick efficiency.
+ When required, operates turret trucks, electric pallet jacks, or any other mobile-powered equipment in a safe, responsible manner as defined in the D.C. Operation Training and Certification Program and through Management directives.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Perform daily inventory counts and audits and provide detailed documentation of results.
Research transactions and exceptions to derive root cause and provide resolution.
Request, prepare, compile and retain reports and records in printed and electronic form.
Identify products in inventory database; Identify code dates on products.
Perform full range of Inventory Reclass/Transfer functions.
Evaluate, verify and process Driver returned products.
Reconcile Routes, Invoices and other documents.
Process debit and credit adjustments while utilizing accurate reason codes.
Perform related clerical tasks and audits to support warehouse logistics.
Move and stage pallet loads with material handling equipment.
Adhere to Company standards for Safety, product handling and Food Safety.
Keep timecard record to ensure accurate time and attendance reporting.
Adhere to Division Attendance Policy.
Work in multiple environments, including office as well as ambient, refrigerated and frozen storage areas.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Education/Training **:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Related Experience/Requirements:
+ A minimum of three years job experience, Inventory Control or other Clerical in a Distribution Center setting.
+ HACCP experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
+ Computer literacy - MS Office, electronic inventory database, Windows based applications.
+ Able to communicate effectively, written and verbal; Possess strong math skills, excellent organizational practices with a high attention to detail.
+ Able to resolve routine problems of typical scope; Analyze complex scenarios; Prioritize job tasks of varying frequency; Perform with limited Supervision.
+ Possess and practice strong teamwork skills; Serve as resource to others and provide inter-department support.
+ Ability to operate and become certified on Powered Industrial Trucks (Pallet Jack, Stock Picker, et al).
Work Environment:
Ability to work in environments between 0F and 34F degrees

**Description:**
· Retail/Stocking Position (presence on both the sales floor and stockroom)
· Process and replenish merchandise.
· Maintain store appearance through restocking and merchandising
· Unload and check in pallets of shipment; stock sales floor and backstock in stockroom
· Work together in a positive team environment; achieve goals and priorities in a timely manner
· Retail/Customer Service or related experience strongly preferred
· Must be able to lift to 20 lbs.
· Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift
