Riverside University Health System Medical Center is seeking a Stock Clerk for their Moreno Valley office.
The Stock Clerk will be responsible for receiving and properly storing food deliveries, organizing stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method, maintaining cleanliness in storage areas (including dry storage, refrigerators, and freezers), and ensuring food items are labeled and dated in compliance with safety standards.
The Stock Clerk is a critical support role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food and supply distribution within the healthcare setting. This position requires driving county vehicles to transport food, supplies, and equipment to various locations, including the main hospital campus in Moreno Valley. The Stock Clerk will be tasked with loading and unloading food carts, cleaning patient trays, and ensuring the timely and safe delivery of meals. Additional responsibilities include assisting with catering deliveries, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing routine vehicle checks, and keeping accurate temperature and delivery logs. The role also involves washing dishes, sanitizing cookware, organizing the dishwashing area, and disposing of food waste in accordance with safety standards. The position demands flexibility, strong attention to safety and hygiene. Teamwork and a willingness to assist kitchen staff are essential for success in this role. The selected candidate will be responsible for pushing a patient meal cart weighing up to 50 lbs. and lifting food supply deliveries from vendor's weighing up to 50 lbs.
The Stock Clerk is an entry-level position that, depending on the area of assignment, reports to a para-professional or higher-level staff member. The incumbent will receive initial training in the techniques and procedures necessary for the role. This classification is typically assigned to supply units within county departments, where the incumbent is responsible for receiving, storing, and routing supplies, materials, and equipment. Responsibilities may also include duties such as maintaining department inventory records, preparing requisitions and inventory cards, sorting and distributing incoming mail, and packaging items for distribution.
As part of the hiring process, the Stock Clerk will be required to submit a Riverside County General Form #30, "Authorization to Drive a Riverside County Vehicle or Private Car for County Business," which will subject them to the DMV Employer Pull Notice (EPN) Program during their employment.
Position Hours:
The RUHS-MC is a 24-hour facility - incumbents must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays. This position works a total of 80 hours within a two-week pay period, consisting of 4/10-hour shifts. Work schedule and/or shift times are subject to change based on department needs. This position may require occasional overtime.

• Store stock in accordance with established storing system; keep storeroom in orderly and clean condition; package items to be shipped; fill requisitions and assemble for delivery; note and report to supervisors items that are low in stock.
• May prepare work orders or items to be sent for repairs; may maintain routine records of items received and issued, including posting to perpetual inventory cards; assist in taking periodic physical inventory; type requisitions and inventory cards.
• May duplicate forms and other printed matter; may maintain records of petty cash funds.Knowledge of: Basic techniques of receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and materials; basic techniques involved in inventory control.
Ability to: Read sufficiently well to accurately fill requests from written purchase orders; maintain records of receipt and delivery of supplies and materials; perform basic arithmetical computations; learn the terminology of parts and supplies associated with the storeroom or warehouse assigned. License/Certificate: Possession of a valid California Driver's License may be required.

Physical Requirements: Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects that may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary:
Employees who organize and work in the room where all incoming materials are stored until their use are responsible for maintaining the materials that come into Super Color Digital from vendors, as well as record and distribute those materials when they are requested by proper Super Color Digital employees. These employees are in control of the distribution of materials that create the projects of clients. They must keep this room in the best possible condition physically as well as making decisions that make distribution of materials easier for Super Color Digital.
Job Duties:
· Accurate perpetual inventory maintained on the software inventory system
· Physical inventory counting and verification
· Inventory cycle counting
· Stockroom organization and housekeeping
· Stockroom receiving
· Inventory staging for production
· Inventory returns from production
· Coordinate inventory controls with other facilities, as requested
· Ensures proper consumption per shelf life of product
· Understand all items within stockroom relating to production
· Complete data entry for all incoming materials that will be stored or sent directly to Production for use
· Complete data entry for all inventory materials used in Production, any materials returned to the Stockroom from production and any damaged or below quality materials
· Keep Stockroom locked and secure at all times
· Perform cycle counts on inventory materials: for Purchasing or Production departments, for accounting department, of entire Stockroom at the end of the month to ensure accurate financial information.
· Review daily activity with the next shift
· Communicate frequently with Receiving, Purchasing and Production departments to check that adequate quantities of material are available to satisfy Work Orders.
· Keep Stockroom secured and organized
· Maintain a positive, proactive atmosphere for Stockroom personnel
· Check that all information regarding Purchase Order/material condition is correct before accepting job, perform Stockroom duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Stock Request/material condition before giving materials to any stage of Production
