Responsible for global categories primarily supporting McCormick’s Flavour division such as aroma chemicals, essential oils and extracts and the development of category strategies and programs to optimize cost, rationalize the supply base and bring value to the Corporation while mitigating risk. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting or applicable field of study will be preferred. Previous experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment with appropriate business experience. Thorough knowledge of industries for assigned categories with flavour industry experience preferred. Project management, execution of or participation in large, multiple or cross-functional projects. Proven experience and success in leading major cost savings initiatives and cross functional teams. Good understanding of material functionality, material flow and handling to optimize supply chain effectiveness. Ability to deal with diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities. Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange complicated information, negotiation and influence with suppliers and internal business directors. The Consumer Health Sourcing Manager negotiates contracts with suppliers in support of the Consumer Category Management Strategy. This role works closely with the Category Managers to understand their needs and our customer needs to write contract language that supports both.
**Location** - Targeting candidates nationwide (fully remote), though our ideal preference would be finding someone local to Central Ohio willing to work in a hybrid capacity (a plus but not required).
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead Distribution Service Agreement (DSA) negotiations with suppliers

This key supply chain position will be responsible for strategic sourcing activities including price and contract term negotiations, cost reduction, KPI tracking, score carding, supply continuity and resiliency, technology evaluation, and supply-demand planning for data center physical security products and suppliers.

This role will have led commercial responsibility for data center physical security products such as cameras, badge readers, as well as other products used in the protection of Oracle services. This will require excellent leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills. Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the Purchasing and Logistics functions for US Valve, and work closely with the platform Sourcing team. The candidate will prioritize and execute sourcing initiatives to reduce supply chain complexity, improve business continuity and achieve material productivity. This role will be responsible for improving supplier performance and developing a best-in class supply base for critical components and overseeing warehousing, shipping and receiving functions. The position will work closely with production to achieve on-time delivery and with finance to ensure a complete and accurate accounting of inventory and will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
8020, Supply Chain and Logistics management
- Manage the overall purchasing function, scheduling, and inventory control as well as all other related purchasing and logistics functions.
- Evaluate raw materials needed for production by working with schedulers, management and MRP systems.
- Manage logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize warehouse functions, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
- Collaborates with commercial team to set inventory levels needed to execute expected sales forecasts.
- Identifies supply chain risk and implements counter measures that improves part availability, prevents stock outs and accelerates backlog execution.
- Drives 8020 principles deeper within the organization by using the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) analysis to drive actions.
- Leads our SIOP process
- Owns all supplier data masters is JDE, keep relevant data updated as required
- Track and expedite delivery to ensure material availability. Resolve discrepancies by comparing purchase orders.
- Be part of a team that performs periodic physical inventories.
- Discuss defective goods with quality control personnel, vendors, and users to determine the cause. Work together to find solutions.
- Responsible for import compliance.
- Actively engages in Daily Management, Monthly Business Reviews, and GEMBA walks.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Improves Inventory Turns
- Improves inventory accuracy and location/ lot control
- Increases Supplier OTD and Quality performance
- Reduces Supply Chain Complexity through 8020
- Delivers Material Cost Productivity
Manages a team of buyers, planners, and functional supervisors in purchasing, logistics and warehousing areas.

- 10+ years experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Materials Management roles
- History of supply chain performance improvement in a low-volume, high-mix, manufacturing business
- Experience in international sourcing and logistics, experience with Asian suppliers is a plus.
- ISO9001 experience a plus
- While performing duties of the job, employee is required to move around and be still; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Employee will occasionally lift average of 25 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- International/Domestic travel required 10% of time.
- Shop floor and office working environments.
- Noise level is minimal with intervals of spikes.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $107,100.00 - $160,700.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
