Summa Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team.
The selected physician will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400+ physicians employed by Summa Health. Summa Health – headquartered in Akron, Ohio – is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
Opportunity Highlights
- Employed position offering competitive compensation, benefit package and incentives such as signing bonus, education loan assistance, relocation, and CME allowance
- Office & Endoscopy Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p, 4 weeks inpatient service per year
- Endoscopy suite directly below clinic
- Robust imaging on site
- Direct scheduling of colonoscopy
- Academic appointment available through NEOMED
- Epic System’s EMR
Provider Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment
