Job Description
Supervise all functions pertaining to facilities maintenance, to include, but not limited to; preventive maintenance programs, repairs to the building, property, and all material handling equipment. Oversee maintenance G&A expense for all budgeted items in the Maintenance and Repair accounts. Oversee expenses related to other services sub accounts of landscaping, mat rental, pest control, snow removal, janitorial, waste management, fire system maintenance, and certification. Review and recommend changes to existing material handling equipment and all proposed construction projects. Responsible for timeline compliance, and quality of work for external construction projects.
The base salary range for this role is $70,100 - $105,200. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the maintenance of all operating equipment, and facility systems. Enforce proper turn time of preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure timely response to critical equipment downtime issues in the distribution center.
- Train/develop maintenance personnel; authenticate that skill sets meet minimum requirements of job function.
- Make use of the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), utilizing it to its full capability.
- Interact with outside vendors relative to the coordination of all construction projects to the facility, property and equipment. Responsible for validation of quality work, and compliance of all safety standards.
- Oversee the required back stock of maintenance spare parts and supplies while minimizing inventory levels through strong supplier partnerships.
- Ensure contractual compliance to include: landscape, mat rental, pest control, snow removal, waste management, and fire system maintenance accounts.

- 8-10 years maintenance experience in large distribution center and/or manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a large distribution center and/or manufacturing environment.
- Technically proficient in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to review and critique schematic diagrams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CMMS.
- Knowledge of 5-S practices preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
- Awareness of state/local regulations, and code requirements
- Must have outstanding interpersonal, and communication skills (oral/written)
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient P.C. skills, to include Microsoft Excel and Word.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA :
Job requires ability to work in a warehouse environment, on a concrete floor all day.
Requires continuous, standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance is necessary.
Frequently reaching, bending, stooping, talking, hearing (audio equipment), handling objects with hands and lifting to 50 lbs
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically
This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.

Our client, a growing **food production company** in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a **Quality Supervisor** to support and strengthen their Quality Assurance (QA) team. This role plays a key part in maintaining internal, regulatory, and customer compliance across all aspects of production.
Under the direction of the QA Manager, the Quality Supervisor will assist in managing audits, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and supporting a proactive QA culture on the production floor.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in leading a positive, team-oriented QA department to support employee safety, food safety, product quality, and operational goals.
+ Support internal and external food safety audits, including audit preparation, accompanying inspectors, completing reports, and following up on non-conformances.
+ Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and third-party audits (GFSI/BRC/FSMA).
+ Work closely with QA Leads, Forepersons, and Technicians to maintain production compliance.
+ Oversee and monitor training related to Quality and Regulatory standards.
+ Evaluate and maintain programs including HACCP, GMPs, Air & Water Quality, Preventive Controls, and more.
+ Maintain and review Quality Management Systems, Food Safety and Food Defense manuals.
+ Conduct documented annual reviews, internal audits, and ensure the facility is audit-ready at all times.
+ Manage customer compliance portals such as TraceGains, Share-iFY, Azzule, etc.
+ Respond to technical and document-related requests in coordination with the QA Manager.
**Qualifications:**
+ 2-5 years of QA experience in food manufacturing or production required
+ Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Preventive Controls, and GFSI/BRC standards
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Proficiency with quality systems and audit processes
+ Experience managing or using customer compliance portals is a plus
+ Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
