• Working towards a bachelor's degree in supply chain, supply management, or related major with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026, Spring 2027, Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.

• The ability to participate full time (40 hours/week) as part of our intern cohort from June 1 - August 14 (semester system programs) or June 15 - August 21 (quarter system programs).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$46,280.00-$3,560.00

The base salary range is used nationally in the United States, excluding Puerto Rico. The Medtronic Internship Program offers an hourly rate of pay that falls within the range of 22.25 to 25.75 per hour. The hourly rate offered will be determined by the position and is subject to variation based on the number of years of school completed.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Supply Chain Systems & Operations Management to lead the development, integration, and optimization of supply chain systems and operational processes for our global data center portfolio. This role will oversee supply chain technology platforms, end-to-end procurement operations, vendor performance management, and cross-functional process alignment to support rapid data center deployment and expansion. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in supply chain systems, operations leadership, and process improvement within data center or mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Systems Management:

• Own the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain systems (ERP, Procure to Pay, inventory, logistics, and analytics platforms).
• Lead system integration efforts across procurement, construction, finance, and operations functions.
• Ensure supply chain systems are optimized for data visibility, automation, and scalability.
• Partner with IT and digital transformation teams to enhance reporting, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Procurement Operations & Process Optimization:
• Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, ensuring standardization and best practices across all regions and categories.
• Develop and maintain global SOPs, playbooks, and workflows for sourcing, contracting, approvals, and supplier onboarding.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times, cost, and operational risk.
• Establish and manage a global supplier performance and compliance framework, including SLAs, KPIs, and scorecards.
• Oversee vendor audits, risk assessments, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with category leads to optimize the supplier base and strategic sourcing decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, systems, or procurement, including 35 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in mission-critical or capital-intensive industries (e.g., data centers, construction, energy, industrial manufacturing).
• Deep expertise in ERP and procurement platforms.
• Proven track record in implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence
• Strong understanding of supply chain analytics, operational KPIs, and process re-engineering.
• Excellent communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and scale systems and operations in a rapidly growing environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA, MS in Supply Chain or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative disciplines
• Experience in data center industry, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company
• Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Black Belt
