**_What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Directing and managing a team of inventory control warehouse associates to account for timely distribution and receipt of products and motive employees to ensure that predetermined productivity and quality standards are achieved
+ Overseeing all inventory control operations which includes, managing the flow of goods, optimizing inventory levels and ensuring efficient and accurate warehouse accurate warehouse operations.
+ Overseeing the completions of SOX Reporting requirements, participates in QA events, reporting and resolution of Inbound and Outbound discrepancy, processing customer returns error resolution, cycle count compliance, profiling assistance and service issues.
+ Implementing best practices and maintains accurate inventory records.
+ Adhering to budgetary guidelines and works to meet Distribution Center objectives and operational goals while maintainingstandards pertaining to quality and inventory
+ Driving and participating in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
+ Performing daily scheduling of the work force to ensure proper staffing to select, replenish, restock, locate, and shipmerchandise in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
+ Developing and maintaining the inventory tracking system.
+ Monitoring and reporting inventory accuracy and shrinkage.
+ Designing and implementing inventory control procedures.
+ Examining material levels and identifying shortages.

+ Reviewing attendance/PTO records and ensuring scheduling is maintained.
+ Holding staff accountable for conducting work in a safe manner while enforcing Cardinal Health compliance and regulationsconcerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, State and local authorities
**_Qualifications_**
+ 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ Manhattan (WMS) experience is highly preferred.
+ MHE experience is highly preferred.
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel highly preferred
+ Solid warehouse profiling experience is preferred
+ Strong organizational skills are desired for success in this role.
+ Prior experience with inventory control, continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

**JOB SUMMARY**
This is a Finance position responsible for controlling the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Control functions, which includes performing cycle counts of the warehouse inventory, conducting investigations of suspected out-of-balance items and making corrections to the inventory based upon that research, coordinating all special processing of inventory including return to vendor shipments and performing other related tasks.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Manage the inventory control, driver check-in and quality assurance functions effectively and directs staff to identify and resolve variance, and potential variances, to achieve an accurate perpetual inventory count and protect company assets
+ Maintain, develop, and implement procedures that ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy are achieved while minimizing the amount of shrink incurred
+ Manage the driver check-in function ensuring that all dues are collected and deposited intact and in a timely manner, all obligations are accounted for and imaged, and all obligation adjustments are accurately made in a timely manner
+ Review daily inventory reports for possible errors and reports information to Finance, Operations, and Merchandise departments
+ Organize and facilitate shrink meetings and identify the root causes for shrink
+ Participate in the hiring and training of inventory associates
+ Responsible for performance management and development of inventory associates
+ Manage the Product Recall process
+ Ensure that the Company is Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) compliant
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree is preferred
+ Must be properly trained and licensed in the operation of powered industrial equipment as appropriate

Load Planners coordinate all processes and functions of freight movement and customer service. Load Planners process customer orders, plan & optimize shipments into loads using Transportation Manager System, tender freight to third-party carriers, update the Transportation Manager System with current shipment information and respond to internal and external customer inquiries. Load Planners also provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process over-sight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.

Penske Logistics is seeking a proven leader with relevant experience and skills to join our team of transportation and logistics professionals. We are seeking a candidate to supervise drivers at one of our locations.
The Operations Supervisor provides direction at a single location, leading staff to ensure customer requirements are achieved while meeting our Penske goals and objectives.
**Position Summary:**
Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce to ensure the execution of daily tasks and activities including driver deliveries, loading/unloading of trailers, and customer service operations in a manner consistent with company services and cost objectives. Supervises most processes directly including people, systems, customer needs, equipment, etc. workforce and equipment scheduling. Responsible for performance management of direct reports. making corrective action and disciplinary decisions up to written warning level. Involved in the hiring process and customer meetings as necessary.

**Schedule:** Sunday - Thursday - **Hours:** 9:00PM - 7:00AM (Hours vary depending on business needs)
**Experience:** Transportation management background, strong communicator, goal oriented, detail oriented, demonstrated leadership skills. Supporting CDL drivers
**Salary:** $54,900 - $72,700 + Position is bonus eligible up to 12% of the base salary

People
- Establish and sustain that all supervisors and associates are trained and competent and understand how their work relates to the customers' business objectives
- Establish and sustain that performance standards are communicated that are specific and measurable
- Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance standards and provide coaching and counseling to associates
- Motivate and engage associates by focusing on team accomplishments and recognition
Operations
- Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control
- Conduct team meetings
- Evaluate and recommend changes in preferred work methods to increase productivity of dispatch operations. Assist in new associate training
- Provide relief coverage for operational duties when associates utilize time-off or are absent from the shift
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the site's operating systems in order to ensure operational compliance and correct exception resolution
- Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
Finance
- Ensure compliance with financial policies & procedures such as tracking MPG, returns, damages, etc.
- Understand the relationship between decision-making and profitability
- Closely manage associates' working hours and activities to minimize overtime and to meet or exceed productivity targets
Safety
- Ensure day-to-day management and associate activities are aligned with the location safety strategy
- Provide associates with communication, training, feedback, and direction to ensure safe performance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures
- Conduct safety observations
Growth / Customer Experience
- Understand the location-specific customer goals & objectives and work to meet and exceed these expectations daily
- Ensure the customer knows that we are committed to helping them meet their objectives
- Determine areas that could benefit from Continuous Improvement efforts
Fleet/Assets
- Properly plan work assignments to ensure effective use of fleet equipment
- Work with hourly associates to ensure they understand safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Work with vendors to ensure equipment is maintained
- Work with Penske Truck Leasing to ensure schedule of preventative maintenance is complete
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
**Job Qualifications:**
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to connect, build rapport and maintain solid relationships with associates, Company leadership, internal and external customers. ¬
- Must have ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required
- Ability to manage through a problem, think critically, and make decisions independently
- Ability to drive process improvement and lead change
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
- Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
