If not, notify the department manager to immediately address. * Run the OSDR Report for DMG, RTV, VA, DIS, WO, CHR, PRV, USE, LF, STL, WEB and SAM monthly to ensure correct movement of merchandise was done and correct any discrepancies. Document report of findings/corrections, submit to the Operations manager for review, both initial and archive monthly in the cycle count drawer. * Check a minimum of 10 customer receipts daily and randomly. Either "Pickup" and or "Take With" Tickets. Any discrepancies adjust immediately and notify CEM/Operations Manager of mistake(s). * Communicate to Store Management Team the discrepancies found in the day's CCYL and propose solutions to fix the issues which may have caused and or potential may cause shrink via e-mail. Failure to fix the outstanding issues upon your follow-up, you will need to notify the CEM/Operations manager immediately. * Maintain all cycle count paperwork per SOP. * Follow-up to ensure that all changes were implemented. Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment) * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The UW Medicine Outpatient Surgery Center at Harborview is a five operating room surgical unit with supporting pre-operative, post-operative, and sterile processing departments. The anticipated opening date to patients is January 2026.
WORK SCHEDULE

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Support the UW Medicine Outpatient Surgery Center Operating Rooms by the provisioning of surgical supplies and/or implantable devices for the Operating Room.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Orders, receives, and distributes OR supplies including stock, non-stock, and consignment products.
Identifies and implements process improvements that increase efficiencies and cost savings.
Ensures that Workday on hand stock quantities are aligned with physical locations by managing the usage log and doing regular cycle counts.
Cycle counts inventory on a consistent basis, checking for expired product and packaging integrity. Ensures that expired or damaged product is labeled, quarantined, and removed immediately.
Reviews OR schedule for required items, ensures items are ordered, received, available and prepared for cases. Checks all supplies for expiration dates before hand-off to OR.
Troubleshoots problems with the availability of all surgical supplies and implants.
As part of the sterilization process assembles, wraps, or containerizes instrument sets.
Tracks inventory regularly, including the return and re-shelving of unused products, product recalls, and returning damaged or expired goods.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduation or equivalent
AND
One to two years of experience processing complex trays of surgical instruments and equipment. (Inventory control experience may be considered as applicable experience)

equivalent education/experience.

The new Outpatient Surgery Center opening on the Harborview Campus is located on the 4th floor of Ninth and Jefferson Building (NJB) and will open January 2026 to patients. The Surgery Center will feature 5 operating rooms, 12 pre/post bays, and sterile processing. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday with no holidays, weekends, or night hours. The Center will offer same-day surgery procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to our community of patients that meet the necessary criteria. This reflects the Center's innovative, patient-centered culture, supporting ongoing operational efficiencies and quality improvements. Key job responsibilities
The Returns Optimization SCM works across the organization in a cross-functional environment with Planning teams, Applied Science teams, and Tech teams to define the needs, goals, and execution plans to grow a world class logistics network. They maintain and report up to date and accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis. They facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolves any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity. The SCM also works with operations leadership to identify waste and continuously improve processes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Communicate requirements and strict timelines to stakeholders.
- Model optimal network design minimizing for cost given business goals and constraints.
- Define metrics to measure transportation performance and drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce non-value added work.
- Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure that they are delivered.
- Communicate with internal customers (Operations, Product, Finance, Tech).
