Work in partnership with Children's legal team all supply chain teams, appropriate internal stakeholders and business owners and vendor representatives with decision making authority. Structure and facilitate all aspects of negotiations, including assessments of financial and operational terms and conditions, concession planning, redline management, negotiating agreements focused on quality, safety, and expense management, and timely finalization and signature. Document portfolio and contract near/mid/long term objectives. May direct the work of other Contracting department team members in specific portfolio management and improvement programs. Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical departments, supply chain, and senior leadership across all disciplines and CHST companies to identify, define, promote, and communicate potential strategic contracting strategies and utilization opportunities. Interact with executive leadership, hospital and department directors, physicians and vendors in matters related to strategic contract acceptability, costs, utilization, and implementation of a focused grouping of strategic contracting categories. Responsibilities: * Provide guidance regarding strategic contracting related activities * Accountable for the performance and results of multiple teams performing strategic contracting related activities * Develops long-term plans and strategies for area of defined responsibility aligned with established strategies, and works with other leaders and staff members to operationalize and execute the strategy * Communicates priorities and expectations, schedule of contracting tasks and milestones, monitors contract negotiation and management progress, and provides direction * Makes decisions guided by resource availability and functional objectives that affect the results of the function * Analyzes key trends and input from individuals in the team to make meaningful changes that directly and significantly affect results * Establishes strategic contract workplan and accountable for managing to achieve expected results * Works on cross functional teams to develop and implement strategic contract solutions that have a broad impact on the organization's operations and processes * Maintains in depth knowledge of strategic contracts both GPO and Local as well as solid knowledge of other GPO strategic contract category programs; including standardization rebate programs; group buys; and other bulk buy opportunities. Proactively plans for the GPO and Local bid cycle relative to strategic contracts. * Participates in assigned business area strategic planning efforts. Maintains in-depth knowledge of assigned business areas’ operational and growth plans. Stays informed of system use of contracts and contract strategies related for large, multi-department agreements. Coordinates all aspects of large, multi-department vendor strategies. Aligns business plans with all necessary contract lifecycle activities. * Maintains in-depth knowledge and fluency of Children's contract management system . * Proactively plan for and initiate strategic contract review prior to renewals by performing financial and non-financial opportunities for improvement and recommending a course of action. * Plans, coordinates, documents and leads strategic contracting initiatives. * May serve as the strategic contracts contact for the GPO and senior executives * Works with the Children’s legal team to create, revise and manage contracting templates and terms for use during vendor contracting. Collaborates with Children's legal team to manage redlines and propose language alternatives, where appropriate. * Works with other contract managers, as well as individual stakeholders, when negotiating strategic contracts with suppliers associated with an assigned portfolio; serves as the assigned contract portfolio leader; evaluates bids and proposals and provides input to decisions by key stakeholders and the business owner; reviews and interprets vendor contracts and redline versions for accuracy and completeness * May evaluates supplier performance through review of reports, business meetings and customer feedback; resolves issues and implements solutions to address negative supplier performance (once escalated by the business owner or internal stakeholder). * Oversees the supplier coordination with other contract management staff to implement contract fulfillment for contracts within the assigned portfolio. * Oversees the resolution of disputes with suppliers, within the assigned portfolio, managed by other contract management staff. * May prepare of provide guidance and templates to stakeholders regarding Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, and other bid requests; Depending on evaluation role, may lead or assist with analyzing RFI, RFP and bid responses based on defined criteria, prepare summaries, and coordinate review and decision recommendations. - UPC/Barcode validation. Database will be provided to where intern will work in distribution center/warehouse scanning barcodes on each packaging level of product to validate system information. Once validated, will provide any required updates to Master Data team to load.
- UPC/Barcode labeling. For products without a printed barcode on packaging, a database to be created so labels can be printed for the DC associates. Will work with DC Leadership to design labels to be printed for DC on items without barcodes.
- HTS/COO maintenance. As we have had many changes with tariff mitigation, our HTS codes and COO designation needs to be reviewed that we have not missed updating or assigning accordingly
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of master data processes, standards, data governance and data quality concepts.
- Knowledge of SAP Material Master Data and how data is used in business.
- Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong inter-personal, organizational, and communication skills
- Advanced skills in Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, merging data sets, import/export of data.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask. Take ownership for prioritizing workloads
Education : Working towards Bachelor's degree or greater in Business, Supply Chain Mgmt., Operations Mgmt., Logistics Mgmt., Sustainable Supply Chain Mgmt., Data Science, Data Mgmt.
Experience :
- Experience in a distribution center / warehouse operations environment
- Forklift experience bonus (will train and certify to drive and operate forklift in DC)

- Internship will have travel involved including a kick-off in Atlanta and Operations immersion week in Cullman, AL

- 6 years of experience in Ecommerce business planning, supply chain management, category management and/or data and analytics-intensive role with an emphasis on Quantitative analytics
- Bachelors degree in Business/Economics or in math/analytics/engineering is required
- MBA would be a plus
- Hands-on with advanced Excel with attention to detail to integrate complex data to build forecasting and to perform analysis
- Experience of working with a large national retailer or carrier for consumer electronics would be a plus
- Experience of handling PSI for Mobile business will be a plus
- Knowledge of ML/AI models for forecasting, pricing and promotional analytics for business analytics will be a plus
- Creative thinker with excellent business acumen, analytical skills and experience with statistical modeling

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager (SCM) to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The SCM will be responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers. This includes procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, all while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Duties & Key Responsibilities

What you will do in this role:
+ Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner
+ Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position
+ Place safety stock in proper location
+ Receive expedited deliveries, accurately key receiving into the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate department(s)
+ Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system as appropriate
+ Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriately
+ Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule
+ Ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes
+ Perform QA random checks on totes per approved policy
+ Rotate stock in POU areas and backup storeroom areas to ensure no items are out of date
+ Check after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid reoccurrence
+ React appropriately to POU "critical point" messages and stock outs
+ Process all "returns to vendor" or "returns to backup stock" appropriately
+ Provide assistance to the POU Station personnel as well as provide assistance with problems, questions and concerns at the nurses stations
