**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
As the Director of Risk Management you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing supplier and operational programs that improve the bottom line and protect the organization in various risk areas. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing and implementing risk strategic policies and procedures to assess, onboard, monitor, and optimize third-party relationships and ensure our supply chain is resilient. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive these improvements, lead the change management, streamline processes, and ensure compliance to enhance financial & business performance.
**Third-Party Relationship Management:**
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of third-party relationships, from initial vendor selection and due diligence to ongoing performance monitoring and evaluation. Establish strong partnerships with vendors, managing contracts, and service level agreements to ensure the organization's needs are met effectively.
**Supply Chain Risk Resiliency:**
Strengthen the E2E supply chain risk resiliency through strategic initiatives, technology, risk mitigation plans, policy implementation, and monitoring and reporting for compliance. This will require collaboration and working closely with key stakeholders including IT, Legal, Finance and Supply Chain / Procurement teams to ensure effective risk management and mitigation. This position will also work collaboratively with other areas within the broader operation teams to ensure we have cohesive risk resiliency plans and we are able to quicky address any risk issues / events to mitigate impact.
**Procedures, Policies and Audits:**
Ensure third-party risk management practices adhere to company policies and comply with relevant required regulations and standards. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure any issues or findings are addressed timely and then governed. Ensure policies and procedures stay current, accurate and complete.
**Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:**
Mature and digitalize risk / compliance performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance against contractual obligations, service level agreements, risk resiliency, and compliance requirements. Conduct vendor performance reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement any corrective actions necessary.
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
- Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, finance, supply chain or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Experience in risk management, procurement, compliance or supplier governance, with at least 5 years in leadership and 10 years in work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in third-party management, risk resiliency, governance processes, regulatory requirements and ability to work with cross-functional teams to increase resiliency within WD and with WD suppliers.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to build and execute strategic plans and articulate vision to others, including executives.

**SUMMARY**

**QUALIFICATIONS**

In this exciting role, as a Manager within the OAPI supply chain team, you will look to acheive operational goals while working cross-functionally across various departments to support development, planning, and implementation of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
You will support execution of global sourcing strategies across various supplier categories related to Otsuka products.
You will manage a complex portfolio of products with competing priorities that include balancing inventory, managing vendor / supplier relationships, optimizing total delivered cost to meet finished goods demand with focus on delivering value to our patients, our suppliers, and to Otsuka.
You will create and nurture an environment for proactive communications with cross functional collaborators that will help ensure both internal and external customer demands are consistently met with no laps in supply and availability of products to our patients.
Additional facets of the role include coordinating purchase requisitions in the ERP system, monitoring supplier performance KPIs and reporting, coordinating, and aligning production and development efforts with program goals and communicating demand / forecast with key vendors / suppliers.

Planning

+ Manage exceptions raised against existing replenishment plans and work with third party suppliers or site production planners to negotiate resolution and adjust plans to reflect changes in demand and supply to ensure that adequate production takes place to meet market demands.

+ Manage the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process that includes all internal key functional areas and allows sharing of performance and gain alignment on future actions.

+ Monthly reporting of supply chain metrics and partner with finance on month end close activities and J-SOX controls.

+ Address distribution issue escalations and manage resolutions with 3PL and/or internal teams.
+ Manage interfaces, transactions, and postings in ERP system.
+ Manage 3PL processes for inventory, returns and claims, recall activities and reporting, and product destructions.
+ Manage inventory reporting and communicate with appropriate parties.
+ Manage pick/pack/ship processes with 3PL ensuring full- and on-time delivery to meet targeted customer service level.
+ Manage packing instructions for new routes, shipping configurations and/or transportation methods together with packaging and quality teams.
+ Manage distribution state license submissions and renewals with Legal and processing vendor.
+ Manage international and intercompany order and shipment processes with customers and 3PL including shipping forecast, communications, documentation, and issue resolution.

We specialize in patient-centered care, adherence packaging, specialty drug services, mail order services, prior authorizations processing, and patient counseling. We are seeking highly motivated energetic and experienced pharmacy technicians to help with the picking, packing, shipping, and daily operations for our supply chain team. Our goal is to provide the highest level of service and become the operational hub for all of our member institutions.
**Job Description:**
**Primary Responsibilities:**
1. Responsible for supply chain operations in the pharmacy, warehouse, and loading docks including, but not limited to:
+ Staging product for deliveries
+ Coordinating with pharmacy and delivery service personnel to ensure accurate transfers
+ Receiving product from delivery companies
+ Stocking of items in designated areas within the warehouse
+ Pick, pack, and ship packages of various sizes
+ Material handling: receiving, unloading, and stocking shelves, inventory cycle counts, product organization and stock rotation
2. Maintaining and procuring inventory of packaging and pharmacy supplies.
3. Maintenance and filing of required recordkeeping and logs.
4. Safe operation of equipment essential to safely and accurately complete assigned duties, including dollies or motorized equipment.
5. Communicates any problems to the supervisor including issues with the merchandise location system or with the merchandise being loaded/unloaded.
6. Cleans up and disposes of boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as routine cleaning and maintenance of pharmacy and loading dock areas, including pharmacy equipment.
7. Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position.
8. Performs all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals Rotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business.
**Required Qualifications:**
1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. Registration with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee.
3. 2+ years related work experience in pharmacy.
4. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Inventory, shipping & delivery, and/or pharmacy fulfillment experience.
