A leading Automotive Supplier client is looking for a Systems Design Engineer in the Southfield, MI area to join their Body Electronics, Systems Engineering team. This Engineer will be responsible for analyzing system requirements which come from customer (OEM), attending meetings with the customer to refine and define system requirements, and create the system specifications for the product. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for Functional Safety requirements as well as implementing ASPICE process through the design for these body electronics products previous experience with ASPICE and FuSa (ISO 26262) is highly desired. The Systems Engineer will also track design, testing/validation, and process activities to make sure things are completed through the development lifecycle (concept design validation prototype release). Additionally, the Systems Engineer will create system test specifications to validate system requirements using Vector/Interpid communication/diagnostics tools (CANoe, NeoVI, Vehicle Spy, etc.).

**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking an a highly talented Fueling System Design Engineer to be based in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Fuel System Design Engineer will serve as discipline designer leader on projects that include an emphasis on receipt, storage, transfer, and issue of finished fuel products such as aviation jet fuel, diesel fuel, ethanol, and motor gasoline.
+ Projects include tanker truck fuel receipt, marine vessel fuel receipt, aboveground and underground transfer pipelines, aboveground and underground horizontal and vertical fuel storage tanks, and aircraft and tanker truck fuel issue systems. Projects will also include ground vehicle refueling systems such as fleet and retail service stations.
+ Position will include responsibility for development of discipline specific design execution plans for assigned projects. Position will be responsible for completing projects on schedule and within the established budgets and for ensuring that all discipline specific contract requirements have been met.
+ Fuel System Design Engineer will assist in training and supervision of work of junior engineers conducting fuel system design work.
+ Fueling System Design Engineer will work and coordinate with multidiscipline engineering teams including civil, structural, and electrical engineers.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering + 6 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Experience working with and coordinating with multidiscipline design teams.
+ Fuel system, process engineering, and/or oil and gas design experience.
+ Ability to travel one week per month inside the US and internationally.
+ Experience and ability to use AutoCAD.
+ Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain PE licensure within 6 months of employment.
+ Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Familiarity with surge analysis software and experience adjusting piping systems to reduce or remove the potential for pressure surges during system operation.
+ Familiarity with thermal pipe stress analysis software and experience adjusting piping systems to ensure stress levels in the piping systems are in accordance with acceptable levels listed in ASME B31.1.
+ Familiarity with hydraulic, pipe and fuel pump sizing calculation methods and software. Experience using hand calculations and software to calculate fuel pump motor hp requirements.
+ Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) fuel system design and experience with fuel system design requirements of USACE, AFCEC, and NAVFAC agencies.
+ Familiarity with commercial codes and regulations related to fuel system design such as the IFC, NFPA 30, NFPA 30A, and NFPA 407.
+ Commercial aviation fuel system design experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain pipelines for containerized applications across environments.

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

**Electronic System Design & Integration Engineers (across all levels):**
TheElectronic System Design & Integration Engineers are responsible for validating and integrating the multiple software applications across the FLRAA platform to achieve and aircraft level function.
Functions include flight control, braking, fuel management flight instruments, etc.This position requires a broad background in Software Systems across all Vehicle Management and Mission Systems.
**What you'll be doing as** **Electronic System Design & Integration Engineers:**
Decomposition and validation of requirements into multiple Systems/Sub-systems for functional thread correctness and completeness
Responsible for multiple Aircraft functions/threads and integrating them into the design across all levels of decomposition
Ensure IMS & ADO Dependencies/Linkages exist between IPTs to support the Aircraft thread development
Modeling and traceability of Aircraft threads into CAMEO tool
Facilitate architecture decisions and interface evaluations using modeling tools
Validation and Verification tracing into the model and test ownership assigned
Create efficiencies for development and test of systems / software by running programmatic reporting of the integration of Aircraft Capabilities
Participate in the solution and validate the requirement decomposition in software for Aircraft threads owned
Conduct Integration analysis at the SIL and Aircraft level of latency, timing, data flow, bus loading, event sequencing, etc..
Troubleshoot and resolve system integration/verification issues.
Coordinate with Internal and External IPTs, suppliers, and peers to generate and execute projects/design plans and reviews.
Ensure Safety and Cyber Involvement in Architecture develop and refinement in the Aircraft threads
Manage and coordinate issues, problem reports and change requests to closure.
Coordinate design changes and deliveries with Safety, Security and Certification organizations.
Ensure timely delivery of systems data, systems requirements, integrated validation/verification activities, and issue resolution.

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Lead and Senior Level System Design Engineers to support the Central Maintenance Computing (CMCS) in Hazelwood, MO.
The successful candidate for the Central Maintenance Computing (CMCS) team will focus on system engineering with an emphasis on avionics/electrical design, supporting the development of maintenance equipment that includes connections between equipment and aircraft subsystems, network infrastructure, and computing hardware for instrumentation and network system connections. The equipment and software for the CMCS are utilized throughout all phases of platform and weapon development and sustainment lifecycle. In this collaborative team environment, the individual will be responsible for developing, testing, and repairing the hardware design for the CMCS system.
As a System Engineer, the candidate will work closely with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, analyzing and translating these requirements into system, hardware, and software designs, as well as interface specifications. The System Engineer will also oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that system designs meet operational and functional requirements, while monitoring supplier performance to guarantee system integration and compliance with established requirements. Additionally, the engineer will address issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the entire product lifecycle, researching specific technological advancements for potential application to the company's business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Project lead activities for small projects, including performance management, schedule planning, and reporting through basic Earned Value Management.
- Overseeing research of technologies for potential application to company business needs and support of road mapping activities for future capability planning.
- System requirements development and analysis through customer interaction.
- Managing parts selection of electrical systems, lab or flight test instrumentation and data acquisition, and leading subsequent supplier coordination and management efforts.
- Overseeing design and documentation of electrical systems, components, connections, and interfaces including schematic analysis and design and review of electrical wiring,
- Leading and directing all phases of project including direction to lab test personnel, managing system selloff/verification, problem resolution associated with fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle: hardware inspection, check-out, and test execution.
- Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and mathematical modeling and simulation to develop system definitions/architectures and perform trade studies (includes integration with interfacing engineering disciplines model-based design toolsets).
- Support the execution of all aspects of Systems Engineering throughout the full program lifecycle (concept definition, design, test, and production), using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
- May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years’ experience with system requirements analysis and project planning.
- 5+ years’ familiarity with electrical avionics system design including electrical schematic design, and electrical hardware/software integration.
- Technical system domain knowledge (e.g. air vehicle and/or weapons).
- Experience with product/systems development and integration.
- Active US Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ Years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.).
- Experience or knowledge of cyber security principals or cyber certifications.
- Experience or knowledge of network design.
- Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.e. DOORs, CAMEO, earned value management).

- CompTia Security + Certification.
