The Systems Engineering and Integration team is responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. They evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
Other responsibilities include:
+ Performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance
+ Requirements development (A-Level and B-Level) on large software development programs; Systems design; system interface definitions; sustaining engineering support through a product's lifecycle
+ Technical manual updates and inspection support
+ Support analysis of customer problem reports (and enhancement requests)
+ Work directly with customers to ensure a valid understanding of the problem (or requested enhancement) and need
+ Develop technical solutions, prepare trade studies when required, decompose the solution into system-level and software requirements.
+ Author white papers that document the total system.
+ Connecting and integrating disparate software, hardware, or other systems into a single unified system
+ Applying a holistic approach to analyze and understand complex structures and their interactions
+ Identifying and resolving technical issues that arise within a complex system or network infrastructure
+ Performance, safety, reliability, security analyses on complex mission critical systems
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering, computer science discipline.
+ Experience with full software development life cycle including defining customer requirements, integration, test, and deployment
+ Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
+ Familiar with Model Based System Engineering, Waterfall and Agile practices
+ Familiar with Mission Critical system components including reliability, safety, performance and maintainability
+ Familiar with automation techniques for integration and test of complex interfaces

Primary Level Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. **Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science and 10+ years of relevant experience as a System Engineer or performing System Engineer related activities.
+ 5+ years in the Department of Defense supporting systems engineering technologies highly preferred.
+ Must be familiar with responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable communication networks in dynamic, often military or field-based environments
+ Must be experienced with integrating existing infrastructures with new tactical network components.
+ The ability to break systems into major components and subcomponents and understand the interfaces between them.
