**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Create and execute an integrated strategic talent management plan that aligns with organizational priorities and supports the business and its key stakeholders.
+ Build a responsive and high performing talent management function that effectively utilizes resources to support the organizations shifting priorities and needs.
+ Develop effective talent management programs to ensure adequate technical, professional, and leadership talent that addresses workforce planning and succession planning needs throughout the organization.

+ Coach management on the organizational development principles of effective job design and workflow process improvement.

+ Research, promote, and communicate trends and best practices in talent management to make recommendations and decisions to enhance existing development and talent acquisition programs.
+ Oversee the development, improvement, coordination, and evaluation of programs for employee recruitment, selection, and promotion to ensure proper and effective staffing of all positions with employees that perform on a high level and meet business needs.
+ Ensure that our organization attracts and hires high-performing talent by overseeing the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring procedures.
+ Lead the recruitment for senior management level and executive positions.
+ Utilize data and analytics to assess talent effectiveness and inform talent management strategies and decisions.
+ Oversee agency and vendor partnerships and budgets.
+ Liaison with colleagues at Sumitomo Pharma Corporate (parent company) as needed to build partnerships and share information.

+ MS Office and Excel proficiency required, with demonstrated computer competency. HRIS experience required, preferably with Workday.
+ Embraces technology to improve efficiency.
+ Travel, domestic for ~15% of time, depending on business needs.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, or other related discipline required.
+ Strong background in talent acquisition and prior experience as a recruiter.
+ Experience managing L&OD.
+ Prior Workday experience preferred.
+ Track record for developing and implementing effective talent management programs and building high-performing teams.
+ People management experience, including management of outside agencies or contractors.
+ Minimum 25+ years (w/o Master's) or 20+ (with Masters) of relevant experience.
+ Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry preferred.
The base salary range for this role is $258,600 to $323,300. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
