**Your Key Responsibilities**
The Accelerated Leadership Development Program is a two-year manufacturing leadership development program comprised of four six-month rotations that provide cross-departmental exposure. Each rotation can be located at any of our facilities throughout the North American Region (USA, Mexico and Canada), including the possibility for international rotations. The first rotation will start in Wooster, Ohio. Upon graduation of the program, a permanent position in Wooster, Ohio is guaranteed.
Manufacturing Leadership Path Responsibilities:
+ Partner with a mentor who is an experienced professional engineering manager to develop best practices and evolve into a leader at Schaeffler
+ Gain knowledge alongside experts in areas such as production management, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, and plant management
+ Trained based on the 70:20:10 model which emphasizes a mixture of hands-on experience, mentoring, and formal training
+ Leadership training and tools to develop leadership skills
+ Complete rotation development milestones

**Your Qualifications**
For this high-potential development program, we are looking for candidates who are ambitious, creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about leadership and their professional growth.
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering or Engineering Technology
+ 3.0 minimum GPA
+ At least two rotations of relevant co-ops or internships
+ Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
+ Leadership experience or exposure preferred
+ Thorough understanding of engineering principals
+ Excellent Organization and Communication skills
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills
+ Willingness to relocate every 6 months

Peer Leadership Educators (PLE) engage the Ohio University student community in leadership development through peer-driven training sessions and coaching. The Center for Student Engagement and Leadership (CSEL) is striving to make leadership development accessible for all Ohio University students, with a focus on the awareness, development, and articulation of core leadership competencies and their application to good citizenship and meaningful work. PLEs will lead trainings, retreats, and workshops. All work will be done in collaboration with the Executive Director and Associate Director of Student Leadership in the Center for Student Engagement and Leadership. The CSEL is seeking motivated leaders who are excited about defining their personal leadership skills and engaging the Ohio University student body in new leadership opportunities. This position is open to all Ohio University undergraduate students.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create and facilitate leadership workshops and presentations weekly for the campus community
  • Engage in leadership coaching with CSEL staff
  • Facilitate weekend leadership development retreats
  • Assist in development and delivery of leadership peer coaching program
  • Participate in mandatory training and personal leadership development prior to facilitating leadership training programs
  • Attend ongoing training and professional development through staff meetings and supervision

Clinical Leadership Position

This role ensures delivery of evidence-based practice by professional nursing personnel and other staff in designated areas of responsibility. The Clinical Nurse Manager plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the unit's delivery of evidence-based patient care in a cost-effective manner, providing leadership and clinical management to members of the health care team.

  • Assists the Manager in accountability for ongoing delivery of patient care in area(s) of responsibility.
  • Assures application of the nursing process by Registered Nurses in the clinical setting (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).
  • Coordinates nursing care in collaboration with other healthcare disciplines and assists in integrating services across the continuum of health care.
Duties and Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for:

  • 50% Patient Care: Assists the Manager in accountability for ongoing delivery of patient care in area(s) of responsibility; assures application of the nursing process by Registered Nurses in the clinical setting (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation); assures documentation of patient care in the medical record.
  • 25% Operations and Personnel Management: Maintains daily unit operations including the status of staffing, patient visits and/or admissions, discharges and transfers, serving as a resource to department/unit staff to guide patient care delivery.
  • 15% Professional Development and Leadership: Practices as colleague with medical staff, other members of the interdisciplinary team, and other disciplines to initiate and support collaborative and cooperative clinical management practices.

The Clinical Nurse Manager works closely with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and promote a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in nursing leadership and a strong understanding of the nursing process.

Bachelor's Degree (Required), BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing.

The Clinical Nurse Manager may require advanced training in specialty areas and demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships, verbal and written communication and nursing practice standards.
