As a Medical Device Technical Support Specialist (Hybrid), you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences by supporting innovative medical technologies. **ABOUT THE ROLE:**
As the Plant Engineering Manager /Technical Manager you will be responsible for managing the engineering team and overseeing the technical operations in the Constantine facility.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:**
+ Manages plant quality systems, specifications, product development, and documentation.

+ This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various products.
+ Understanding of reliability tools and strategies including direct experience facilitating.
+ Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis.
+ Knowledge of business and management principles specifically as it relates to maintenance planning, resource allocation, cost analysis and budgeting, people management, and leadership guidance.
+ Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain difficult situations.

**Responsibilities**
**KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
- Diagnose and repair faulty production and related plant equipment with the minimum amount of supervision using the provided schematics, manuals and drawings. Be able to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical problems and have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies
- Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in the form of a requisition in order that spares or replacements can be ordered
- Install equipment and test run
- Develop and maintain store room spare parts inventory and establish a withdraw, return and re-order procedure
- General working knowledge of machine shop equipment
- Must be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks
- Will be expected to maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Assist with tooling setup and maintenance when needed
- Responsible for additional specific duties related to each shift as assigned by Shift Team Leader
- Other duties as necessary

- Ability to operate basic machine shop equipment
**Maintenance/Repair:**
- Demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and abilities
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment in manufacturing facilities
- Demonstrates the ability to perform electrical trouble shooting, repair and equipment installation
- Demonstrate the ability to use electrical meters to include multimeter and amp meter
**Qualifications**
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:**
- Three to five years of experience in a related field and a mechanical pretest to employment
- High school graduate required
- Completion of a vocational or trade school curriculum from an authorized school with a concentration in electro-mechanical courses desired
- Must be able to read and use precision type instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings
