This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all facility equipment and property as well as project support and preventative/predictive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime while maintaining operational safety and quality. In addition, you will have a proactive approach to production equipment and building maintenance, working as part of a team, collaborating with managers and skilled workers.

This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all facility equipment and property as well as project support and preventative/predictive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime while maintaining operational safety and quality. In addition, you will have a proactive approach to production equipment and building maintenance, working as part of a team, collaborating with managers and skilled workers.
Essential Job Duties:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair components of all production equipment and building infrastructure to prevent and/or minimize downtime.
- Organize and/or support in setup and installation of new equipment or equipment components; Further organize and/or support in dismantling obsolete equipment or components.
- Develop and maintain PM schedule for equipment and building.
- Set up and operate a variety of shop equipment to include operational maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment.
- Implement and/or recommend methods or system improvements to increase operational efficiency including up time and quality of products and services.
- Interface with vendors and/or contractors to ensure proper repair, replacement or installation and operation of equipment and/or building components.
- Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized workspace.

- Support ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (EH&S) Management System Processes
- HS Diploma or GED Required.
- 5+ years' experience in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent schooling and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools, as well as technical testing equipment consistent with the Industrial Maintenance field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics; Demonstrated ability to design and plan equipment installations.
- Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Welding and fabrication proficiency.
- Forklift experience desired.
- Computer literacy -Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Organized, self-structured, self-driven.
- Practical approach, straightforward and communicative.
- Ability to work independently, as well as a team
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to obtain respirator clearance.

Broadband Maintenance Technician
Zito Media has a full-time opening for an experienced cable system Broadband Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on CATV feeder/distribution and trunk systems in order to maintain system performance standards. Maintenance and repair of cable system, up to the headend. This position also supports the Service Technicians on a regular basis.
Required: 5 years CATV experience or related work history in the cable tv industry .
Job Responsibilities:
• Identify faults within the subscriber drop, feeder/distribution and trunk systems to ensure proper signal level, picture quality and compliance with all local, state, federal and Zito Media requirements and standards.
• Correct these faults by adjusting, repairing or replacing passive or active components.
• Perform signal egress/ingress detection; sweep alignment; installations; troubleshooting; test point measurements; system balance and preliminary proofs.
• Perform emergency restoration of signal outages in the feeder/distribution and trunk systems.
• Complete work assignments generated through subscriber service requests and technician follow-up requests, including unresolved technician work orders.
• Audit the system and terminate unauthorized connections.
• Activate new plant and perform preliminary proof.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident
• 5 years CATV experience or related work history in the cable tv industry.
• Understanding of and ability to use: signal level meter, volt-ohm meter, cable locator egress monitoring devices, AC clamp meter television test set, spectrum analyzer basic time domain reflectometer, system maps sweep gear.
• Apply technical expertise to a variety of situations, evaluate problems and implement the best solution.
• Communicate effectively with the customer concerning reception problems and services.
• Work under minimal supervision, within broad guidelines of procedures and goals.
• Demonstrate support for excellent customer service.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
Special Requirements:
• An active driver's license is required for this position.
• Full knowledge and capability of driving a bucket truck.
• Reach, push, pull, hold, grasp and perform fine manipulation on cable and electronic equipment.
• Ability to climb poles and ladders daily.
• Carry, set-up and extend ladders weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Confidence working in/on buckets, ladders and utility poles at heights of up to 40 feet.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 100 pounds.
• Use the standard tools of the trade (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, strippers, crimpers, hammers, etc.) to route cable, connect cable and install electronic equipment.
• Able to work a variety of schedules in order to provide needed coverage, for both normal duty and on-call duty.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Sufficient visual and aural acuity to operate a variety of standard test and measurement equipment.
