**Job Description:**
The Senior System Administrator will handle system administration tasks, including infrastructure management, information security, software installation, and configuration control. This role involves creating innovative solutions to technical challenges, providing system support with modern tools, and overseeing the design and performance of computing systems for effective capacity planning and disaster recovery.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversees system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture
Provides complex problem resolution, root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems
Participates in the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems
Plans and coordinates system changes
Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

**Qualifications**
**Education and experience:**

To apply knowledge and analytics to develop and communicate timely, accurate, and actionable insight to the business through the use of modeling, visualization, and optimization. Responsible for the reporting, analyzing, and predicting of operational processes, performance, and Key Performance Indicators. - Responsible for tracking, planning, analysis, and forecasting of storage capacities, inventory levels, equipment and/or labor requirements
- Coordinates with Operations Systems group to ensure technical issues and problems are being identified, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner
- May coordinate with ILD group on issues related to modeling customer solutions, including providing data and relevant insight for customer pursuits
- Responsible for assisting finance and senior leadership in modeling yearly labor budget based on operational and profile changes
Required Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, related field, or equivalent experience, required

BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated mid-level Software Engineer to join our Tactical Mobile (TacMobile) team supporting the NIWC Atlantic TacMobile Program with the sustainment of the existing fielded configurations as well as developing and fielding future capabilities for the TacMobile sites (USN and FMS customers).
