General Summary of Position
MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technology Specialist to join our team! In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care while adhering to our high standards and protocols.

As a Radiology Technology Specialist, you will perform both clinical and administrative responsibilities within MedStar Health settings, under the supervision of a physician. Primary Duties:

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required with completion of an approved Radiology Technologist program.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) certification required.
  • Maryland, Virginia, or DC state license required.
  • Preferred: Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting.
  • Preferred: 2 years of medical office experience.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certifications in CompTIA, A+/ComptTIA Network, CompTIANetwork +, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals are preferred.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems/Technology Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of ten years of experience in the technology field and four to seven years of experience conducting administration and maintenance duties.

The Information Technology Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation, design, development, and maintenance of various systems and programs across various DOS posts and domestic programs.
