The successful candidate is passionate about Process Control Systems, Industrial Networks and OT Cybersecurity with a desire to further enhance their skills and our Automation practice. As a member of our team, you’ll contribute to CDM Smith’s mission by supporting the secure and efficient design, implementation, and optimization of OT and industrial networking solutions across infrastructure projects by:

The Issues Assurance Specialist is responsible for reviewing individual artifacts provided for remediation of high complexity issues and assessing them for completeness and accuracy against the commitments made in the remediation plans. Teammate will help Issue Execution Officers and business units incorporate any observations from 1LOD review and assurance into remediation timelines prior to issue closure. Issue Assurance Specialist will support in the creation of the closure memo that articulates the summary of observations when reviewing the individual artifacts for an issue.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Responsible for reviewing and assessing individual artifacts provided during remediation of high complexity issues for completeness and accuracy.

+ Partner with issue owners and Issue Execution Officers to incorporate observations from reviews into remediation scope prior to issue due date.
+ Ensure alignment to enterprise issue management standards, audit methodology, and regulatory expectations for issue closure.
+ Support the completion of the issues closure package for rationale of issue closure including the completeness and accuracy of remediation artifacts.
+ Support Issues Assurance Officer in the identification of themes in remediation to incorporate into issues execution best practices.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required Qualifications:**
