Job SummaryPosition: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Job Summary : Essen Health Care is embarking on the development of its own population health and practice management solution, transforming how healthcare organizations manage data and deliver services.
We are seeking an experienced, visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the companys technology strategy and execution. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will drive innovation, oversee the technology roadmap, and ensure scalable, secure, and efficient technology operations. This individual will be responsible for aligning the companys technological infrastructure with the business objectives while fostering collaboration across clinical, operational, and engineering teams. The CTO will also play a pivotal role in the internal implementation and refinement of products, preparing them for successful external release and marketing.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Technology Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with Essen Health Cares business goals.
Shape the vision for technical architecture, scalability, and long-term growth of the companys population health and practice management solutions.
Stay on top of emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation in the healthcare industry.
Act as the primary technical advisor to the executive team, ensuring technology decisions are aligned with business needs.
Ability to mentor and grow our current talent, and act as a catalyst for new talent acquisition as our engineering team expands.
Product & Engineering Oversight:
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to integrate technical capabilities with clinical and operational requirements.
Provide leadership to the engineering team, ensuring efficient and agile development practices.
Oversee the development and refinement of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and rapidly iterate based on feedback.
Ensure product capabilities are marketable externally and scalable for future growth.
Team Management & Culture:
Build and manage a high-performing technology organization, including engineering, development, and infrastructure teams.
Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Partner with product and business teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of priorities.
Implementation & Operations:
Oversee the implementation of technical solutions within the organization, serving as a sandbox for iterative product improvements.
Ensure the organizations infrastructure and systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
Lead efforts in testing, training, and rollout of technical solutions across the organization.
Data & Analytics:
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define and implement data-driven strategies.
Ensure the development and integration of robust business intelligence and analytics tools for insights and decision-making.
Maintain expertise in data warehousing, big data engineering, and analytics to leverage data for competitive advantage.
External Stakeholder Engagement
Represent the companys technology vision to external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.
Contribute to technical marketing efforts, including client case studies, technical specifications, and feature descriptions.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver scalable and innovative solutions.
5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, especially electronic medical records (EMRs).
Experience managing and building technology roadmaps that align with business and product goals.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with clinical, operational, and product stakeholders.
Technical Expertise
Strong background in software engineering, cloud-based architectures, and agile development practices.
In-depth understanding of Business Intelligence, data analytics, and big data technologies.
Experience with modern technology stacks, including microservices, APIs, state machines, and data integration platforms.
Familiarity with healthcare IT standards like HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance.
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Advanced degree in technology, business, or healthcare IT is highly preferred.
Skills
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and articulating technical visions to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze data and define strategies for data-driven decision-making.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar EMR systems.
Hands-on experience scaling technology teams in high-growth environments.

Role Overview:
Our Privacy practice is a rapidly growing part of the Data & Technology segment of our business. Our professionals help our clients address their data privacy challenges, including conducting privacy risk assessments, creating policies and procedures, building data inventories, reviewing and interpreting regulatory changes, developing consumer response processes, implementing technology and assisting organizations through privacy related regulatory investigations. We are seeking a Senior Associate level candidate, although this may be filled at a different level depending on the candidate's qualifications.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the day-to-day activities of engagements including interaction with other team members, subject matter experts, and client contacts
+ Manage all facets of client engagements, including work stream supervision, client interaction, and billing
+ Create project status summaries and/or reports and metrics, written analyses or assessments, and other presentations of work performed

Our client is a developer of an artificial intelligence-based platform intended to streamline the customer relationship management process. They are a Series A company with over $27M in funds raised to date (long runway!) and founded by a serial entrepreneur who has a history of successfully exiting businesses.
They are looking for their first VP of Marketing to build out their inbound marketing machine, and to continue to lead the charge on the overall marketing function companywide.
The Role:
- There will be a strong emphasis on branding, messaging, and positioning.
- This role will oversee 3 marketing associates (1 senior demand generation manager, 1 senior product marketing manager, and 1 content marketing manager) > as the business continues to grow, you will then hire additional team members.
- Define product messaging > help craft messaging that cuts through the noisy AI marketing and lands with the target audience.
- Increase inbound traffic > increase brand awareness and converting prospects into customers.
About You:
- Located in NYC (candidates outside this area will not be considered at this time)
- MUST have proven experience working in a B2B SaaS startup environment and have demonstrable results getting in on the ground floor and building marketing teams (with a company that continues to be successful and/or successfully exited)
- Proven experience working with product development, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring that a product is launched successfully and achieves its maximum potential in the market
- Love getting your hands dirty - you light up at the idea of being in the trenches with your team
- Have a strong understanding of the demand planning process and are confident building and managing a forecast on a standardized cadence
