Description Responsibilities Work directly with clients to thoroughly understand their business requirements and objectives and determine technical and/or operational solutions to address their needs. Determine the level of effort, equipment, software, and service required to build comprehensive project plans with clear timelines and budgets for each project. Perform security and functional evaluations of new products and services. Assist with auditing and documenting new environments. Present plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience building and securing solutions with modern cloud components (Google Workspace, M365, AWS). Comfortable designing solutions for Windows, Mac, and Linux environments (both desktop and server; mixed and homogeneous). Deep networking experience (wired and wireless). Experience troubleshooting complex issues involving multiple disparate systems. 10 years of professional experience in IT. 3 years in an IT management role. 3 years as lead architect for client engagements. Our client is actively recruiting an innovative Educational Technology Specialist to enhance our digital learning environment in Madison, Wisconsin, US . This position focuses on integrating technology effectively into educational practices to improve teaching and learning outcomes. You will be instrumental in evaluating, recommending, implementing, and supporting a wide range of educational technologies, ensuring they are aligned with pedagogical goals and institutional objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, a strong understanding of educational principles, and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities include providing training and ongoing support to educators on the effective use of educational technologies, including learning management systems (LMS), interactive whiteboards, educational apps, and online collaboration tools. You will also assist in the development of digital learning content and resources, troubleshoot technical issues related to educational software and hardware, and stay current with emerging trends and best practices in educational technology.
