This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Information Technology Consultant: Video Post-Producer, competency level 3, position for the Division of Educational Ventures at Oregon State University ( OSU ).
The Division of Educational Ventures ( DEV ) is a growing, innovative, and collaborative organization with a commitment to providing high-quality online education. The division extends Oregon State University's exceptional learning experiences including microcredentials, certificates, and degrees available to students throughout Oregon and around the world.
The division includes Ecampus, offering over 100 online and hybrid degree programs; the Ecampus Research Unit ( ECRU ), conducting and supporting original research in online teaching and learning; the Corporate and Workforce Education Unit ( CWE ), creating pathways for learners employed by collaborators in business and government; the Center for the Outdoor Recreation Economy ( CORE ), providing workforce development for the outdoor recreation industry; the Open Educational Resources Unit ( OER ), aiding faculty in adopting open course materials; and the Alternative Credential Unit ( ACU ), developing short-form educational opportunities
The Video Post-Producer (Information Technology Consultant, competency level 3) is a classified position within DEV . This position reports directly to the Video Team Manager and is part of the multimedia team. This is a creative position that works collaboratively with a team of video producers, instructional designers, faculty, staff, and others. The Video Post-Producer edits, plans, and organizes video production, and is responsible for ensuring the quality of video and multimedia content is of a high standard. This position may involve some travel both on campus and at times off campus within the state of Oregon for video production when needed.
The multimedia team is part of the Course Development and Training ( CDT ) unit, which provides expertise and support for the development of online and hybrid courses, including instructional design services, innovative multimedia development, and faculty development programming and support.
This position collaborates with other units within the division and works with faculty and administrators to assess how platform technologies can augment students' abilities to meet course learning outcomes. The role collaborates with faculty, instructors, and content experts to identify needs and build long-term positive relationships with colleagues at the university. Within the CDT team, this position will collaborate closely with other multimedia developers, instructional designers, and faculty course developers to ensure high-quality projects and course materials are produced.

Key Responsibilities
40% Video Post Production
+ Reviews produced media and consults with faculty members, subject matter experts ( SME ) and video producers involved in projects to identify video, graphics and multimedia needs for online classes.
+ Edits video and provides revisions based on editorial notes from SME .
+ Helps maintain current - and create new - course materials.
+ Works independently or with a team of collaborators to plan and coordinate with faculty for producing and updating video and lecture content.
+ Ensures WCAG AA Accessibility standards for video production are met by coordinating the transcription and captioning process for all videos produced by Ecampus.
+ Provides technical support to ensure audio, video, and presentation quality meet accessibility standards.
20% Video Production
+ Works independently or with a team of collaborators to plan and set up video equipment for studio shoots, on location field production, live streams, and live events.
+ Operates university equipment to capture video and audio for online course work.
+ Serves as project manager for video productions to ensure equipment availability and space resources.
+ Provides creative solutions to video production needs.
+ Travels on campus and off campus to capture video from students, alumni, faculty, partners, etc.
+ Ingest and document acquired media in accordance with department policies.
15% Project Management/Administration
+ Prioritizes, plans, manages, and distributes multiple video projects with concurrent deadlines.

+ With input from designated leads from Ecampus units, this role will be responsible for creating goals, timelines, and project management documentation for production schedules, team trainings and best practices to ensure strategic priorities and deadlines are met.

+ Posts final productions on video streaming services and uploads transcriptions.

15% Student Editor Lead Work
+ Provides lead work, training and assigns project work to student editors.
+ Supporting and troubleshooting technical and editing issues with student editors.
+ Reviews video edits of student workers for quality assurance and standards.
+ Establishes goals for student workers.
10% Professional Development and Service
+ Consults with video team to identify emerging technologies, trends and resources in video production and video hosting, along with making budget recommendations to unit managers and directors.
+ This position serves as a member of the OSU Educational Ventures teams as assigned. Service may include other duties as assigned, such as coverage in absence of others, serving as a representative on university or division committees.
+ The video producer represents the division at professional workshops, conferences, forums, trade shows, customer meetings and other opportunities for constituents and clients. They also share knowledge internally and provide technical cross-training.
What We Require
This classification requires a basic foundation of knowledge and skills of technology and information systems generally obtained through an AA degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified course work in applicable fields of study and at least one year of related work experience.

Essential Job Function :

  • X-Ray Testing
    • Perform X-Ray analysis of sugar beet seeds.
    • Train and schedule seasonal staff to perform x-ray testing.
    • Validation of x-ray test results.
    • Perform and schedule equipment preventative maintenance (PM) and in-season service as needed.
    • On call for troubleshooting of X-Ray equipment and software and/or to fill in for absent staff.
    • Develop, maintain, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for x-ray tests.
    • Maintain flexible working hours during the peak processing season (usually begin of August to end of November).
  • Work with supervisor to determine staffing/scheduling for critical testing periods.

  • Assist in creation, maintenance, and annotation of image datasets.
  • Monitor data validity against data entry errors, testing errors, etc.
  • Assist other team members and support research in the execution of projects during the non-peak season.

**Job Description:**
As a Senior Digital Services Manager at Intermountain Health, you'll apply an enterprise, cross-platform view as you lead the research, strategy, planning, execution, successful delivery, and ongoing product ownership of projects and digital channel activities within your designated Digital Services program area(s). The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic planning skills, project management expertise, product management knowledge and ability as an individual contributor to align cross-functional teams to shared goals. This role involves developing program and channel roadmaps and strategies, managing project timelines and ensuring ongoing success of assigned initiatives and programs surrounding our internal, caregiver-facing digital platforms. You'll partner with business and clinical leaders to recommend and align on leading practices and recommend improvements to their content and sites. You'll lead governance initiatives to manage and improve content quality, as well as designing and tracking the success of ongoing training initiatives.
**Essential Functions**
+ Define and refine program strategies, effectively leading governance initiatives and motivating cross functional teams. Ensure adherence within designated program budget.
+ Inspire and influence others on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your program(s). Interview caregivers and analyze current program data, research industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to better inform these discussions and ensure we are building for the future.
+ Provide leadership to other technology managers and stakeholders, often influencing organizational strategy. Mentor other managers, analysts and other constituents on related best practices.
+ Build relationships with stakeholders, become an expert in aligning program focus delivering transformational outcomes that meet their goals and needs.
+ Lead cultural change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
+ Leads cross-functional teams to map simple, lean, end-to-end workflows, automating where possible.
+ Facilitate program governance, identifies and implements related policy and procedures to drive outcomes. Initiates corrective and preventive actions as necessary to resolve operational or service level exceptions.
+ Contribute to the lifecycle of related digital products including identifying use cases, testing/quality assurance, deployment planning. Ensures commercial off the shelf (COTS) solutions are close to out of box, protect scalability, minimize technical debt.
+ Establish program performance KPIs. Prepare and present executive reports to senior leadership. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data.
+ Lead program evaluations to improve efficiency and effectiveness leveraging methods such as ethnography, design thinking, journey maps and analysis of internal and external data.
+ Conduct technology vendor analysis and facilitates contracting process with Supply Chain.

**Qualifications**

+ Demonstrated experience in Information Technology, Marketing, or related field supporting digital solutions, including project management responsibilities.
+ Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ Five years of related experience including supporting software products, leading process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience and project management. - Or -
+ Five years of related experience in Information Technology, Marketing, or related field supporting digital solutions, including project management responsibilities.
+ Industry recognized certifications such as:
+ PMP or similar certification and experience preferred, e.g. Scrum Master.
+ Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Einstein Discovery Consultant
+ ServiceNow CSA or relevant ServiceNow program related certification(s)
+ Experience with any of the following: design thinking, person-centered-design, journey mapping, Six Sigma.
