OVERVIEW:
The IT Manager is a hands on technical management position and reports directly to the CTO. This position is responsible for the overall operations of the infrastructure department, assuring an efficient, secure and seamless delivery of IT services and support. The IT Manager works closely with the CTO to develop the roadmap and vision of the Banks cloud and infrastructure strategies.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent field experience, two to five years in an IT management role (financial services or banking a plus).
- Hands on knowledge of networking, WIFI/LAN/WAN, Firewalls Windows Server, VMWare, hardware, hyper converged infrastructure and software.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and cloud security
- Experience with the implementation of security controls
- Experience with CIS controls, IT Risk Management, patch management and vulnerability management programs as well as compliance (experience with regulatory agencies a plus).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are vital.

The Information Technology Manager will play a crucial role in the Information Technology team, assisting in the planning, implementing, managing, and maintaining all IT and information systems-related activities. The position will support the VP of IT in overseeing the IT systems, infrastructure, and ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in the daily management of IT and infrastructure departments, providing hands-on support for the implementation of IT strategies.
- Support the preparation of departmental budgets, including technology implementation and cost management.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the ongoing maintenance of data security measures.
- Assist in the coordination of IT projects to align with organizational goals and ensure timely completion.
- Act as a liaison for internal IT-related communications and assist in communicating IT updates to stakeholders.
- Manage IT service requests and help with vendor contracts, purchasing agreements, and IT procurement processes under the guidance of the VP of IT.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory bodies and industry standards, including HIPAA and healthcare regulations, under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Support the VP of IT in advising the executive team on the financial and operational implications of IT.
- Assist in ensuring that all IT areas have the necessary resources and funding to meet organizational goals.
- Stay informed about IT advancements and healthcare technology trends to maintain professional competence.
- Assist in the execution of disaster recovery and continuity planning as part of the IT team.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU.
- Associates Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of direct experience in the Information Technology sector, ideally within healthcare organizations or integrated healthcare delivery systems.
- Experience in supporting IT teams and assisting in overseeing IT operations in a complex environment.
- Proven ability to manage and lead IT initiatives while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Knowledge of security systems, enterprise applications, electronic data interchange (EDI), and HIPAA transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft platforms, enterprise databases, storage systems, virtualization, and network infrastructure.

BASIC FUNCTION:
In this senior-level role reporting directly to the CIO, you will spearhead the development of a centralized project and portfolio management function within ITS. Your focus will be on establishing and formalizing project management practices, working collaboratively to bring structure, governance, and strategic oversight to project execution while building and overseeing a portfolio of complex IT projects that support the university's strategic goals. You will serve as a strategic leader and internal consultant, training and supporting ITS leadership and team members in project management methodologies and best practices.
You will also provide oversight of the ITS project portfolio, ensuring projects are strategically aligned, properly prioritized, and consistently executed. A key responsibility will include coordinating ITS contributions to the university's enterprise resource planning (ERP) migration from PeopleSoft to Workday, aligning efforts across technical teams, functional leads, external partners, and university stakeholders.
This is a unique opportunity to build a culture of project management while working alongside a highly collaborative team of ITS professionals who are committed to strategic execution and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management Strategy & Governance
- Establish and embed project management best practices within ITS, ensuring standardization, governance, and strategic oversight of project execution.
- Act as a project management advisor to ITS leadership, providing coaching, training, and tools to support project success across teams.
- Own the ITS project intake and prioritization process, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and resource availability.
- Develop transparent reporting structures to communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Own and oversee the ITS project portfolio, ensuring projects are well-structured, strategically aligned, and effectively resourced.
- Manage financial, architectural, and technical aspects of projects to ensure predictable delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
- Lead large-scale IT projects from initiation to close, managing scope, risk, timeline, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support change management efforts by incorporating organizational change strategies that promote user adoption and minimize disruption.
- Work laterally with ITS colleagues, faculty, administrative leaders, and vendors to gather requirements, align expectations, and drive project success.
- Coordinate the ITS work package for the PeopleSoft to Workday migration, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.

5. Demonstrated successful track record managing large-scale, complex, multi-stakeholder IT projects with cross-functional teams.
6. Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and support leadership and cross-functional teams in adopting project management practices.

**Overview**
The Network Operations Center is seeking an experienced and strategic NOC Manager to lead the development, launch, and ongoing operation of our new managed services NOC. This leadership role is ideal for a hands-on network engineer or operations lead ready to manage a growing team, refine service delivery, and build scalable processes from the ground up. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the tools, workflows, and team structure that power our 24/7 support capabilities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee the daily operation of the Network Operations Center, including shift management, ticket escalations, and incident response
+ Build and manage a high-performing NOC team (hiring, onboarding, training, coaching)
+ Define and enforce SLAs, escalation procedures, and operational runbooks
+ Lead the implementation and integration of NMS, RMM, and ticketing platforms
+ Serve as the highest tier of escalation for complex networking and performance issues
+ Collaborate with engineering, security, and customer success teams to ensure service quality
+ Manage NOC metrics (SLA compliance, alert volumes) and present insights to leadership
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs and client network topologies
+ Drive continuous improvement through automation, tool enhancements, and process updates
+ Support onboarding of new clients and services into the NOC environment
**Key Tasks**
1. Team Leadership & Performance
- Hire, train, and supervise Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts
- Manage shift coverage and 24/7 scheduling rotation
- Conduct regular performance reviews and mentorship sessions
2. NOC Tooling & Process Development
- Oversee deployment and tuning of monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., NNMi Zabbix)
- Design and maintain escalation paths and incident handling workflows
- Define KPIs for service performance, and generate executive reporting
3. Incident Management
- Serve as escalation point for high-impact incidents
- Lead major outage calls and ensure root cause analysis is completed
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and clients during incident events
4. Service Integration
- Define onboarding process for new client networks and services
- Standardize configuration management, patching, and health checks
- Ensure secure, documented handoff from implementation to NOC support
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain SOPs, network diagrams, and documentation repositories
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ITIL, NIST)
- Support security monitoring initiatives in collaboration with SOC teams

+ 5+ years experience in a NOC, MSP, or enterprise network operations role

+ Experience with NMS/RMM tools (e.g., PRTG, Zabbix, LogicMonitor, ConnectWise, SolarWinds)
+ Familiarity with ticketing and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
+ Knowledge of industry frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, or SOC 2

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
