Strong experience with relevant networking and firewall technologies such as Cisco and Palo Alto
Strong network administration experience in areas such as DNS, routing, firewall configuration, scripting and automation

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop complex, enterprise solutions across the appropriate engineering environments to meet business and mission requirements or enhance performance
Plan, conduct, and oversee the technical aspects of large, complex projects; coordinate the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects
Perform full-stack software engineering development using Agile methodologies
Develop and execute business process analysis, reengineering and digital transformation that adapt to user needs and requirements and meet business goals
Oversee the day-to-day operation of Tier 1 - 3 support as needed (troubleshooting, problem resolution support, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Develop and apply advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex system requirements and problems
Provide complex technical consultation on current and proposed systems to other organizations and clients
Enhance web-based applications to maximize User Experience (UX) and accessibility standards
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM))
7+ years serving as an Engineering Lead or similar work leading high performing teams
Experience in maintaining compliance with Natural Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)
Familiarity with virtualizing servers, storage, networks, desktop and applications to improve efficiency, security and scalability
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Solid understanding of server operating systems (Linux, Windows)
In-depth understanding of communication protocols and routing protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degrees and certifications are desired (e.g. - MCSE, CCNP, or CISSP)
Experience supporting configuration management in a multi-region environment
Experience building PaaS or internal cloud
Advanced experience in systems integration, the ability to write integration code for ServiceNow
