Job Purpose

Through Software and Calibration, the Systems and Drivability engineer will be responsible for confirming the integration of the full powertrain meet Honda, consumer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Schedule planning, management, & reporting: Based on assignments provided from direct supervisor, propose a completion plan, and review it to ensure expectations and priority are properly understood. Plan daily work to achieve objectives, notifying direct supervisor in advance of risks to meet the deadline.
• Learn test process: Consult with direct supervisor to understand the scope and direction for testing / calibration assignments. Follow direct supervisor's advice on what to investigate and/or confirm. Complete all testing as instructed. Complete all required training for in-house software, calibration hardware, and vehicle/facility safety.
• System functionality interdependencies: Consult with direct supervisor or group experts to learn how to estimate potential impacts of design changes and calibration updates.
• Change point verification: Work with direct supervisor to learn the overall process and the specific role of the Test Engineer. Consult with group experts to determine the starting point, what should be verified and how it should be verified for assigned part based on the vehicle change points.
• Internal Collaboration: Communicate with your direct supervisor at the appropriate frequency to avoid becoming stuck or to avoid excessive rework due to too much time spent working toward the wrong direction. Communicate the status of assignments in the weekly group meeting. Share concerns with direct supervisor in monthly check in meetings.
• Document Creation, Reporting & Follow up: Under close guidance of direct supervisor, create documentation for assigned parts, report in evaluation events, and respond to any follow up items per requested deadline.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• 3-years related experience or equivalent level of education and experience
• Proficient PC skills, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and MATLAB

Working Conditions

• Associate will work on the actual vehicle with hand and power tools. Candidate can expect to spend a portion of their time working in the lab – confirming their systems on bench, on the car, or in thermal chambers. (50%)

Role Overview

The Project Manager, Store Operations reports to the Director of Communication and is an integral part of the Store Operations team. This role will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering communication in all formats for Store Operations inclusive of Customer Care, Engagement, Facilities, HR, Learning &

Development, Store Technology, Payroll, Property Operations, Promotions, Marketing, Merchandise Execution & Testing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing (plan, review, & edit) all store level communications to ensure effective execution, to drive profitable sales & an exceptional experience for associates & customers.
• Responsible for translating communication per regulation.
• Create consistent communication voice for the field organization.
• Drive process improvement & collaboration to support daily store execution with cross functional partners.
• Have clear understanding of business process, needs & priorities to drive effective field communication through various platforms (i.e. SharePoint, Workplace, Microsoft Teams).
• Align holistic communication to ensure consistency & accuracy.
• Proactively seek & address competing priorities among cross-functional communications/projects to escalate/influence appropriate partners & leaders. Provide solutions or other options when necessary.
• Package communication in a visually & readable format for the target audience.
• Integrate brand language & tools into daily communication, using proven communication methods and formats.
• Responsible for maintaining the communication portal - posting messages in a timely manner & keeping information organized & up to date.
• Gathers, disseminates, and resolves inquiries from stores to enable store execution.
• Maintain store calendar to track activity, streamline communication, & manage workload.
• Educate leaders through weekly store communications statistics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in retail Operations, Communications, stores &/or multi-channel Possess strong presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Digital Communications
• Digital based (i.e. SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Workplace) communication experience preferred
• Multi-channel experience preferred, including e-commerce
• Multi-lingual and/or previous experience with translation preferred
• Ability to influence all levels of the organization and 3rd party vendors
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with a flexible approach to shifting priorities of multiple projects

The Safety & QA Special Project Manager uses their knowledge of requirements, regulations, and developments related to quality assurance (QA) and food protection to create and maintain a product protection culture that ensures all operational processes meet QA requirements at all times. They communicate all aspects of safety to the team and ensure that all operational activities are performed in a safe manner.

What you'll do as a Safety & QA Special Project Manager:

* Act as a content expert for quality assurance. Must understand all customer QA requirements and relevant government entities.
* Maintain procedures and training manuals required to ensure compliance with QA requirements.
* Perform internal mock audits and serve as primary point of contact for all QA audits.
* Facilitate all federal, state and local inspections of the facility including documentation of the site visit.
* Conduct internal inspections to ensure that all QA records and logs are properly maintained.
* Ensure that all operations are in compliance with government regulations and requirements such as DOT, OSHA, and those of local and state agencies.
* This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Safety & QA Special Project Manager:

* Have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
* Have at least 5 years of warehousing, distribution, QA, and safety experience.
* Have experience managing, training, and directing large work groups.
* Have experience with planning and analytical reporting.
* Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
* This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
