36 hour work week gets a 4-hour kicker
Position Summary:Produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines. Prepare dies, obtain materials and inject part according to procedure.
Essential Functions:- Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Injection Machines.
- Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc)
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor material levels and replace as needed
- Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
- Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills required.
- Operators need to be able to comprehend and read procedures.
- Mold or plastic injection experience preferred.
