The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and WVU School of Medicine's Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry seek a Psychiatrist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The candidate will be expected to practice in Charleston, WV.
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a psychiatry residency program and be board certified/eligible in psychiatry. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will participate in teaching medical students and residents

West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a Neurohospitalist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents.
Thomas Memorial Hospital and St. Francis Hospital combined have 383-beds with 1,812 employees and an estimated 450 physicians. The Neurohospitalist will have 3-4 consults per day. Acute strokes are triaged to J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, a Joint Commission approved Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a neurology residency program and be board certified/eligible in neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
