Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous Lab Technician to join our Quality Control team in a color and plastic additives manufacturing lab. The Technician will be responsible for conducting various tests, including viscosity, color, spectrophotometer, and titration. Additionally, you will manage Excel documentation and utilize SAP for data management.
Responsibilities
+ Perform color matching assigned by the Lab Manager with a high level of quality and within the requested time frame. Use the approved methods, follow the FIFO rule, and blend samples for customer tests and evaluations.
+ Collaborate with the Lab Manager to issue Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and Quality Control (QC) documents. Prepare any customer-requested declarations and manage technical documentation.
+ Ensure samples are labeled correctly and documentation related to product toxicity and classification complies with relevant laws and regulations.
+ Support customers on environmental issues related to production applications by ensuring the availability of technical and safety data sheets.
+ Regularly follow up on samples to confirm product satisfaction with the customer's production process and color shade requirements. Propose solutions if adjustments are needed.
+ Conduct Quality Control tests on finished products to ensure quality consistency and compliance with customer specifications.
+ Approve or reject incoming raw materials based on technical specifications agreed upon with suppliers.
+ Contribute to defining specifications for new products.
+ Provide technical support and assistance through site visits to customers when requested by the Lab Manager.
+ Report to the Lab Manager on site visits regarding any knowledge that could improve laboratory activities.
+ Represent the company at tradeshows or events when requested.
+ Investigate customer product complaints in cooperation with the Lab Manager, propose corrective or preventive actions, and verify their effectiveness.
+ Manage and control the calibration of all laboratory equipment.
+ Perform tests and suggest recovery instructions for non-compliant products returned by customers or non-compliant production material.
+ Ensure proper information flow to colleagues to enhance the technical knowledge within the laboratory.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including lab instruments.
+ Ensure all data regarding new formulations are completed in SAP timely.
+ Perform additional duties as requested by the Lab Manager.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in color matching and Color Theory with CLAB experience.
+ Understanding of LAB values and experience with tools like Datacolor.
+ Proficient in viscosity and titration testing.
+ Strong quality control, wet chemistry, and ink chemistry skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
+ Experience with spectrophotometers and quality control testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or Associate degree required; working towards a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
+ Good work ethic and a positive attitude.
+ Coursework in chemistry or biology is required.
+ Lab experience is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
The role is based in a Quality Control Lab associated with colored plastic and additives. The environment requires adherence to safety standards and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $56160.00/yr.
401(k) retirement plan. Repi LLC will match your contribution in the 401(k) to a maximum of 3% of your salary after 6 months.
Employee health insurance coverage:- Base, Mid, and Buy-up plans: 80% company-paid; 20% out-of-pocket for the employee, spouse and children. The balance will be automatically deducted from the twice monthly paycheck.
Dental and Vision insurance coverage: 80% company-paid for employee and dependents; 20% out-of-pocket automatically deducted from the twice monthly paycheck.
Your eligibility to participate in the company group medical insurance plan (Health, Dental and Vision) will begin on the first of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.
Life, STD and LTD coverage: 100% company paid. Your eligibility will start only after ninety (90) days of full-time employment.
A total of 16 PTO days per year, accrued on a monthly basis.
Eight to ten company-paid holidays including: New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and one to two TBD.

Job Description
The Finance Risk Management (FRM) group within Corporate Risk oversees front line risk activities of the Finance organization. Enterprise Finances activities are critical to the financial risk management of the Company, including, but not limited to, setting, and managing the capital and liquidity positions, executing CCAR, managing interest rate risk, balance sheet management, financial forecasting, line of business capital allocations, funds transfer pricing, and financial and regulatory reporting among others. Additionally, Enterprise Finance encompasses operational, compliance and reputational risk across the various activities. This newly created team is responsible for enhanced effectiveness of IRM oversight, creating streamlined IRM interaction with Enterprise Finance and a comprehensive view of risks across the Finance organization. Skills and Requirements
4+ years of transferable workforce experience within a finance, treasury, or risk organization with particular focus on the following:
o Liquidity
o Balance Sheet Management
o Capital Adequacy
o Financial Forecasting
 SQL experience (reading writing queries, reviewing the data)
 Knowledge of commercial and retail banking products
 Strong understanding of accounting principals
 Excellent communication skills are essential
 Execute with speed, ability to listen and document simultaneously
 Working knowledge of agile methodologies.
