CivilCorp, LLC, an ESP Company, is currently seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to join our team in our Corpus Christi, TX location. CivilCorp is a professional service firm offering civil engineering and land surveying services throughout Texas. CivilCorp’s main office is in Victoria, TX, with additional offices in Houston, Fulshear, Corpus Christi, and Round Rock. This is a great opportunity for a transportation professional to continue to grow their career with a dynamic firm supporting a variety of clients and projects throughout Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing project management oversight and apply engineering expertise in the daily operational task of preparing Plans, Specification & Estimate (PS&E), preliminary engineering reports, schematic design, drainage design and TCPs for roadway projects.
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state laws, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Acts as a Lead Engineer and assists the Engineering Manager in the supervision of other professional and administrative staff.
- Responsibilities will also include maintaining client relationships and close monitoring of project costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters of Engineering degree or other professionally recognized equivalent discipline from an accredited program.
- Professional registration (PE) within the field of engineering with the ability to obtain a Texas PE within 6 months.
- 5+ years of work experience within the field of highway design and transportation engineering
- Credible design experience in using and guiding the use of: Microstation, GeoPak (Road and Drainage) and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
- Experience in designing highway and freeway design projects (PS&E), including horizontal and vertical geometry design, Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) modeling, culvert and drainage design, retaining wall design, quantity calculations, miscellaneous details and development of deliverables.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and highway design programs required for use in completing tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working experience in prioritizing and organizing work assignments.
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

- Ability to create ORD templates.
- Experience in schematic development.
- Recent experience with and knowledge of TxDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures.
- Positive relationships with potential clients in Central Texas such as TxDOT, CTRMA, counties and municipalities.
- Additional software skills, such as Civil 3D or related disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS
Education

Preferred: Five (5) years of experience at the Director level or above. Leadership experience at an academic medical center or a large health care system. Platform experience with PeopleSoft software is preferred.

The Vice President of Supply Chain provides leadership, operational and strategic oversight to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) supply chain function, which includes ensuring supplies and materials are procured and distributed to all MDACC locations throughout the Greater Houston Area. By fostering MDACC's relationship with The University of Texas (UT) System's Group Purchasing Organization, the Vice President will have the ability to maximize value, efficiency and effectiveness for all sourcing functions.
The Vice President serves as the foremost authority on all supply flow including sourcing, logistics, contracting, receiving and inventory management. The Vice President is responsible for envisioning, articulating, and developing a clear, modern, and effective integrated end-to-end supply chain that meets and keeps pace with patient expectations while keeping costs of operations within the established budgets and guidelines.
Varying levels of institutional leadership, including the Vice President of Finance and Accounting and the Vice Presidents of the various operational areas around the health system, will look to the Vice President of Supply Chain as an advisor and leader. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of successful implementation of current best-in-class supply chain management practices.
MDACC seeks a servant leader who possesses strong leadership skills, the strategic perspective to effectively lead Supply Chain Management and be an effective business partner with executive and faculty leadership. Reporting Relationships
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President of Supply Chain also maintains a strong working relationship with the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities
The successful Vice President of Supply Chain candidate will:
Partner with functional leaders and areas across the institution to build trust and visibility as a valued business partner.
Set innovative, strategic and tactical priorities for Supply Chain Management based upon economic impact and strategic priorities of MDACC.
Represent MDACC at Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) meetings and maximize GPO benefits.
Actively partner with the GPO, other UT System institutions, the UT System Offices of the Executive Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and the Executive Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs.
Identify and execute on opportunities to optimize the supply chain and deliver significant cost, value and risk management benefits to the institution.
Identify and implement tools and processes to enhance supply standardization, spend analytics, customer service and supplier coordination.
