Job Description:
Hiring experienced and compassionate Dental Hygienists to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you will work alongside our dentists and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care and education in a modern, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing above and below the gum line
- Apply fluoride treatments and protective sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, self-care, and nutrition
- Record and review medical histories and treatment plans
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment (as required at some locations)
- Monitor clinical supply inventory and assist in ordering
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and professional clinical setting
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active state-issued Dental Hygiene license and current CPR certification
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy is a plus

Job Summary:
Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient. Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Handles a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations. These duties range in complexity and skill, and all aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members.
Essential Functions:
-GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required.
-Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
-Apply fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
-Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
-Record and review patient medical histories.
-Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
-Order and keep track of inventory as needed.
-Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
-This job operates in a medical/clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones.
-This job operates in a well-lighted, sterile environment. Employees must wear gloves, masks, protective eye wear, and clothing to protect themselves and their patients from infectious disease.
Physical Demands:
-The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; stand and/or sit for long periods of time; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens and/or physical risks, which will require OSHA training.
