Summary

We are seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join our team in Buffalo. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission by utilizing advanced ultrasound technology to assist in diagnosing and treating pets. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring high-quality patient care. Don't have veterinary experience? No problem We are willing to train on how to specifically scan animals All images get sent out to a Veterinary Radiologist so experience in reading scans is not necessary. The schedule for this role will be Sunday-Wednesday.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on pets to assist in diagnosis.
• Collaborate with veterinarians to interpret ultrasound results.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Document findings accurately in patient records.
• Educate pet owners about ultrasound procedures and results.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous education and training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Ultrasonographer or similar role in a veterinary setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficiency in sonography and medical imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
