Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop engaging, effective, and accessible online courses and learning materials for higher education using sound pedagogical principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Collaborate closely with faculty and subject matter experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives, content structure, and assessment strategies.
• Create multimedia assets, including video scripts, interactive simulations, and graphics, or guide multimedia developers in their creation.
• Develop and implement strategies for engaging online learners and fostering a sense of community.
• Ensure all course content and materials comply with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Utilize learning management systems (LMS) (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle) to build and manage online courses.
• Conduct needs analyses and evaluations of existing courses to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design, online learning, and educational technology.
• Provide training and support to faculty and staff on instructional design best practices and the use of educational technologies.
• Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of departmental standards and processes for online course development.
• Mentor junior instructional designers and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably within a higher education setting.
• Proven experience designing and developing online courses for university-level education.
• In-depth knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and assessment strategies.
• Proficiency with major learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle.
• Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience creating accessible learning content.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and tasks independently.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with video production and editing is a plus.

**Responsibilities**
+ Identify customer business and academic requirements to design and architect solutions that integrate Gemini into their existing infrastructure.
+ Act as a technical advocate for Gemini, promoting its capabilities in customer-facing meetings, workshops, and public events.
+ Work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to provide customer feedback, influence the product roadmap, and stay ahead of industry trends.
