Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, assisting with project documentation, and contributing to a safe work environment. Responsibilities

• Assisting assigned Team Lead in the installation of solar PV systems and efficiency products;

• Maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency, with a determination to meet project timelines;
• Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, work vehicles/trailers, and maintaining provided tools/equipment and safety gear;
• Working with Warehouse Manager on pick/return tickets, and job pack needs/requirements;
• Assisting with the project take-off process, ensuring job pack is correct, complete, and loaded properly;
• Ensuring a safe work environment, and strict adherence to OSHA rules/regulations and Renu safety protocol;
• Contributing to the project documentation process, to include daily updates/photo uploads to Renu project management programs when assigned;
• Assisting other Renu business functions as assigned.

Kelly is seeking a field service technician that would service a site in Andrews, TX
Position is a long term contract role (minimum 3 year position) with the chance to be hired on. Pay is $33 per hour and position comes with full benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, 8 Paid Holidays, 3 weeks of PTO, 401K, and weekly pay! Position would require very minimal paid travel and would have some overtime each week - average of about 10 hours (paid out at 1.5x base pay). Company will provide tools, uniform, and laptop/cell phone. There is no per diem or vehicle provided since you will not be traveling. Any travel that does come up will be paid for by Kelly.
You will be working on a utility scale solar farm providing service, maintenance, warranty remediation and commissioning for installed photovoltaic inverters, energy storage, plant controls, DC, panels, substation work (most of it is contracted out to an internal team), disconnects, LBD's, etc. This is all on-site at a Solar Farm in Andrews. You must live within 1 hours of Andrews, TX
Responsibilities to include:
- Perform Field Service to ensure 99% up time
- Diagnose and repair faulted inverters and energy storage systems
- Troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electromechanical, and controls
- Conduct annual periodic maintenance inspections
- Keep maintenance records of findings
- Assist with developing maintenance programs
- Perform start-up and commissioning for new PV inverter & energy storage installations.
- Inspect physical installation (wiring, connections and mechanical condition)
- Power up, set all required parameters and ensure proper operation
- Monitor performance and efficiency levels
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels by providing excellent customer service.
- Provide accurate and timely product service reports.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 1 year industry work experience with commercial inverters

SUMMARY

The Solar Operations Technician is responsible for the operation of site equipment and systems on multiple plants in a safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally correct manner. Performs safe and reliable operation of the Solar PV and Battery facility equipment and other power plant systems. Performs inspection of watch, operation, and troubleshooting of all site equipment and systems. Optimize site performance in full compliance with operating agreements, all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned as needed)

• Executes site permitting processes, including ensuring completeness of pre-job safety briefs, and managing LOTO process.
• Observe and monitor overall site operations, ensuring power production is maintained at optimal level and efficiency. Coordinate with Operating Control Team, off-takers, and suppliers to ensure safe and optimal operations.
• Report normal, abnormal, or emergency plant conditions to site Leadership and Management. Take all necessary corrective action(s) in accordance with established policy, procedure, or at the direction of site leadership.
• Executes site restoration after abnormal events and significant outages.
• Performs troubleshooting and operational systems and equipment resets, as applicable.
• Performs inspections of computer, substation and electrical systems, as applicable, to support operating agreements and system reliability.

Basic knowledge of electrical equipment, capacities limitations, theories of operation and operating procedures. Basic knowledge of electrical test equipment and troubleshooting. Basic to intermediate computer skills in word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and inspection instructions; procedure manuals; prints and engineering data; interpret charts, graphs and gauge scales; troubleshoot equipment and system problems; and interface with others. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to spend considerable time sitting at a computer console. Frequently answering the phone or radio throughout a 12-hour shift. The team member is occasionally required to perform equipment inspections which may require kneeling or crouching. The team member must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Required to work a rotating shift with normal shifts up to 12 hours per day and will be required to work alone during night shifts and weekends. Overtime required as needed.
