- Manage video content as it corresponds to the ENPS rundown for live and pre-recorded programs.
- Work closely with Director, Technical Director, Producers, and Video Editors to ensure functionality and quality of all playback content.
- Ensure Newsmax technical quality standards are being met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience executing video playback in live control room environment.
- One (1) or more years of experience with Ross Tria; Mira & Primestream a plus.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
- Ability to communicate quickly and effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work on deadline.
- Solutions-based, team player.
- Professional appearance.

Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position. Engagement will be per event/assignment based upon business need. Employment can be amended or terminated as deliverables for the assignment are completed.
As a Video Operator (V1), you will work under the direction of the Producer, Director, Technical Manager and/or other production or management representatives to provide images for the telecast. You will be able to work with the TM and maintenance engineers to assist with positive solutions regarding equipment malfunction or failure.
The V1 shall have the ability to:
+ Provide all CCU information to all departments involved with the telecast
+ Provide and receive information from outside vendors regarding all cameras
+ Assist with video feeds through CCU's to execute camera and video cabling, connections and patching
+ Maintain images to broadcast standards
+ Operate other equipment and perform other services related to his/her job responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Work closely with Studio Director, Building Engineer to set camera look and shading for all cameras, both robotic and manned in coordination with the game script.
+ Assist with the maintaining, cleaning and testing all equipment and cameras to ensure every tool is in good working order each day before event starts
+ Participate in pre-event coordination planning meeting
+ Ensure the safety of equipment at all times
+ Respect standards and regulations regarding the safety of camera equipment, and apply safe work methods
+ Provide support and assistance to other studio areas as needed
+ Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned
Basic Requirements:
+ Minimum two (2+) years of experience in a live news and/or sports production control room environment
+ Experience using camera control units, color correction devices, waveform monitors, vector scopes, camera chipping and patch bays
+ Familiar with the language of event production and have a working knowledge of all current technology
+ Knowledge of HDR formats
+ Familiarity with Cobalt Color Corrector System
+ Familiarity with Cerebrum Routing System
Desired Characteristics:
+ Minimum three (3) years of experience using camera control units, color correction devices, waveform monitors, vector scopes, camera chipping and patch bays
+ Ability to think quickly, communicate well and keep pace with fast moving studio shows
+ Previous experience with iNews systems
+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
+ Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Solid client service and interpersonal skills and the ability to handle pressure in an on-air environment
+ Knowledge of live sports TV production processes
+ College or technical school graduate
+ Advanced PC computer skills

**Basic Function -**
Under direct supervision of the Design Director of Digital Media Content, operate video camera equipment and provide limited editing services.
**Key Responsibilities**
Camera Operator (80%): Technical operation of our equipment and video capture.
+ Set-up audio and video recording equipment including microphones, lighting, and staging.

+ Set-up and operate "green screen" set.
+ Offload and archive footage.
Editor (10%): Operation of editing platforms and storytelling.
