Optical Engineering Technician - NPIJoin the action! As a technician in the NPI (New Product Introduction) group, you will support our division's new product development process. This adventure starts with providing hands-on support during technology feasibility evaluations and continues through the release of new products into production and includes helping to resolve critical issues in manufacturing and the field. Along the way, you will partner with NPI and design engineers to build prototype assemblies and be responsible for providing critical feedback for product manufacturability, documentation completeness, and tooling functionality and ease-of-use. You will work closely with system-level technicians so that together you can build and qualify our next-generation product designs in preparation for transfer to production. Are you ready? Key responsibilities:
- Build, align, and test opto-mechanical and mechanical assemblies for design validation, prototype testing, and engineering experiments.
- Repair assemblies that have failed on engineering systems or have been returned from the field.
- Provide assembly design feedback to NPI/design engineers
- Generate redlines to improve assembly/align/test procedures, which will sometimes be in draft form.
- Help build and validate alignment or test fixtures.
- Manage material inventory in the work area (cleanroom lab)
- Perform lab audits for safety/regulatory compliance
- May also install assemblies into the systems and perform system-level integration and calibration.
Skills and Proficiencies:
- Must understand and follow class 100 cleanroom protocols
- Capable of following existing processes and procedures while also being able to properly build assemblies with training using only notes or draft procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to follow methodical troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques and make decisions based on data.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills for both your physical workspace as well as for your information (assembly data and task status).
- Motivated self-starter who is fast-learning and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, during critical times.
- Relevant work experience building opto-mechanical assemblies or systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical School or Work experience of 3 years.

The Associate Director, Statistics - Eye Care provides statistical leadership for clinical development and life-cycle management strategies for assigned projects. Specific areas of work may include clinical trials, patient safety, and global medical affairs (GMA). Responsibilities:
+ Provide statistical support for one or more clinical development projects through own efforts or those of a team. Lead/develop statistical strategy for project development and regulatory submission.
+ Provide statistical leadership for design, analysis and reporting for clinical or other scientific research programs. Independently develop protocols and statistical analysis plans.

+ Able to identify data or analytical issues, and assist with providing solutions by either applying own skills and knowledge or seeking help from others
+ Able to manage project timeline and quality of deliverables
+ Able to build strong relationship with peers and cross-functional partners to achieve higher performance. Highly motivated to drive innovation by raising the bar and challenging the status quo
+ Have strong leadership skills and experience in working/managing cross-cultural or oversea teams
+ Pharmaceutical or related industry knowledge required, including experience and understanding of drug development and life-cycle management in the regulated environment.

- Lead and manage teams of employed and independent optometrists (ODs), fostering engagement, professional development, and retention to ensure a high-performing team
- Provide onboarding, mentorship, and continuous career development for ODs to ensure success and growth
- Collaborate with Warby Parker eye care leadership, retail field leaders, and other key stakeholders to align on strategic objectives, improve eye care operations, and elevate the patient and doctor experience, while driving eye exam growth across your district
- Execute and implement strategic, clinical, and business initiatives to optimize OD operations
- Regularly assess and ensure operational KPIs (e.g., exam growth, patient satisfaction) are met and set targets to drive continuous improvement, ensuring performance goals are met and exceeded
- Optimize doctor coverage across your district to meet patient demand by managing OD scheduling and recruitment, and ensuring smart scheduling practices
- Lead the interview process for ODs in your market, ensuring alignment with company values and team culture
- Partner with the People team to support recruitment efforts and develop relationships with optometry schools, faculty, alumni, and professional associations
- Ensure effective performance management by working closely with ODs to encourage engagement, professional development, and high performance
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by effectively managing Employee Relations responsibilities
- Travel to store locations within your district to support teams, drive business, and achieve leadership goals
- A Doctor of Optometry with 2+ years of clinical practice and 1+ years of leadership experience, or a non-OD backed by 3+ years in a multi-unit management role with experience in eye care
- A data-driven clinical leader who can mentor, influence, and build relationships with ODs, with a proven track record of fostering both OD growth and the patient experience
- Empathetic and thoughtful-you're able to connect with others and resolve sensitive issues all while promoting our core values
- An engaging team player, skilled relationship builder, and effective collaborator with exceptional interpersonal abilities
- Equipped with strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in healthcare technology systems, such as DrChrono or other electronic health records (EHR) platforms, with the ability to lead tech integrations and enhancements
- Able to inspire your team by promoting our vision and purpose in a compelling way
