HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Optical Technician to fill an opening in Inverness, Florida.
Pay Details: $15 to $20 per hour
Shift Details: Mon-Fri 8AM - 5PM, potential on Saturday for 9AM - 2PM
Daily Responsibilities for Optical Technician :
- Collecting and recording patient medical history
- Instructing patients on post-operative care, medication use, contact lens care and exam expectations.
- Performing visual acuity testing, auto and Manifest Refractions (measurements for the glasses prescription), tonometry (measuring eye pressure)
- HS Diploma/GED
- Minimum of one year working in an Optical facility supporting patient care.
