**Creative Director, Corporate & Campaigns**

Abbott is seeking a creative and strategic leader to join our internal, multi-disciplinary team of creatives. Across design, copywriting, photography, video, experiential, social and interactive disciplines, this team stewards the visual brand and focuses on creating meaningful engagements between our brand and customers, healthcare partners, and investors. We are a growing internal team that supports a variety of marketing initiatives as well serves as a partner to outside agencies, production companies and creatives.
The **Creative Director,** **Corporate & Campaign** will report to the Sr Director, Creative & Brand Expression, and will be responsible for leading all aspects of 360 campaign program design, including video, digital, social, experiential and print. You will be responsible for concepting and executing creative for 360 campaigns, from collaborative ideation to design development to final execution. Candidate must be a highly creative individual with extremely strong executional skills, is comfortable taking design projects from creative brief to completion, and be able to provide new ideas and creativity while working closely within the brand's aesthetics and guidelines. Should know how to work with cross-disciplinary teams to concept and create.
Our ideal candidate will have developed highly creative campaigns and content for consumer brands and will have demonstrated the ability to think big and implement innovative ideas in ways that create significant impact and foster brand love. They will have a deep understanding of the capabilities of attention-grabbing campaigns, thumb-stopping social media, and engaging experiential activations. Candidates must demonstrate a strong track record of developing and managing team(s) of creatives, partnering closely with cross-functional partners, and overseeing all aspects of the creative process from start to finish. Candidates must be comfortable guiding a team through the process of translating research, company goals, and high-level strategic direction into inspiring and successful creative solutions.

Responsibilities
+ Develop innovative 360 concepts across video, digital, social and print in line with campaign needs.
+ Foster and develop junior members of the team-be a mentor and lead by example.
+ Responsible for creative concepts, pre-production shoot briefs, on set art direction, and execution of all assets.
+ Participate in creative briefings, and partner closely with marketing to understand 360 campaign needs.
+ Ensure the level of excellence in all creative work designed and executed. This includes concept, design, photographic art direction, supervision of retouching, supervision of production, and supervision of all execution for campaigns to ensure consistency and cohesiveness.
+ Report to the Sr. Director, Creative & Brand Expression and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Global Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Internal/External Affairs
+ Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities and possess strong leadership skills.
+ Proactively track trends in culture, design, user experience, and social media
+ Partner with shoot production teams to make sure relevant assets are captured during shoots.
+ Maintain brand strategy, identity, and consistency.Concept and execute creatively excellent campaigns and content that deliver on overall company strategy while expanding Abbott's brand awareness.

+ Communicate with partners, agencies, and internal teams with clarity and vision.

+ Partner with the Sr. Director, Creative and Sr. Manager Project Management to guide team process, including planning, recruiting, and resourcing.
+ Create a vision for the team's continued growth and recruit best-in-class creatives.
+ Foster a respectful and collaborative environment.
+ Mentor creatives on the team, ensuring alignment on all projects and both team and individual goals.
Requirements
+ 12+ years creative experience, preferably a mix of agency, creative studio experience and leading in-house teams at notable brands.
+ Experience working on seasonal and social media campaigns; examples of co-creating with creators, influencers and/or public figures.
+ A deep understanding of FB, Instagram, YouTube, Snap, Pinterest, Tiktok, as well as social best practices.
+ Passion for culture and technology.
+ Excellent management skills. Experience inspiring creative teams with a strong vision and empowering individuals to achieve their best work.
+ Experience collaborating closely with Integrated Marketing, Growth Marketing and Social Media Marketing teams. Ability to translate market research, data, and strategy from briefs into creative solutions.

The base pay for this position is $147,300.00 - $294,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
