**Responsibilities include:**
+ Assist in weighing, pricing, and wrapping selected foods on plates, trays, and in bags
+ Prepare food displays in counter cases and other display units, Greet customers as they arrive at service counter, take special orders, and answers basic customer questions about specialty foods.
+ May assist in preparing, cooking, and decorating a variety of food items, receiving and unloading trucks, storing stock, and taking payment from customers.
+ Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

Summary

This position receives, stores, and distributes food service supplies, material, and equipment within the facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives and counts incoming food items, and records inventory manually or using computer.
• Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse.
• Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in the food warehouse or other areas.
• Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Receives, compiles, and distributes food item requests.
• Determines proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Keeps records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provides assistance or direction to food service workers.
• Performs other duties as assigned

JOB SUMMARY:

The GATE Store Food Service Associate ensures customer service is the first priority for GATE operations by providing a friendly and efficient experience for our guests by will performing routine food preparation and customer assistance. Collaborates with the Store Kitchen Manager and Store Manager to control store operations and inventory. Assists customers with finding products and provide customers with product information by assisting with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks. Stocks the coolers and shelves. Ensures a high level of cleanliness and organization at the store. Performs minor maintenance and repairs on store equipment. Operates register to process cash and credit card payments. Food Service Associate assists in training new and existing team members on food preparation, customer service, and kitchen safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check
