**Shift and Schedule:**

Job Summary:
The shipping and receiving driver is responsible for operating a forklift vehicle for the purpose of loading material onto trucks for shipment and unloading material and other supplies. **Overview**
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area; driving truck or van to and from vendors; completing preventive maintenance requirements on truck and van; arranging for repairs; collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

+ Handling of broken cases to include the re-boxing of good bottles and sending the broken ones to the dump location
+ Leave equipment in good working order and free of all trash for the next shift
+ Ensure the cleanliness of an assigned area of the warehouse
+ Perform all duties in a safe manner
+ Wear all company issued safety equipment
+ Report any damage to the equipment and building to a supervisor as soon as it happens
+ Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Overview
As a valued member of our dedicated warehouse team, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, specialty food items to our customers. In this fast-paced and physically active environment, your day will be filled with tasks that keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently.
You'll be responsible for unloading incoming shipments, accurately receiving and sorting products, and preparing them for timely delivery. You'll help organize, stage, and transport orders to ensure they're ready for pickup by our professional delivery drivers. Every shift offers variety, teamwork, and a sense of accomplishment as you help bring gourmet products from our shelves to our customers' doors.
What does your day look like ? Some of your duties may include:
- Unload, receive, and place incoming inventory items away.
- Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items to fulfill orders.
- View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.
- Building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting pallets for delivery.
- Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.
- Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment, ranging from 0 - 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ascend and descend a step with a height of 10 in. From the floor.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and be able to work under minimal supervision.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to reach and bend.
- Previous warehouse and/or cold storage experience.
- RF handheld device experience.
- Pallet jack and forklift experience preferred.

Job Description
The put away department at Bargreen Ellingson is searching for a reliable Warehouse Associate with a great attitude. You will need to drive a stand up forklift and have to be comfortable working at elevated heights. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure is expected. You also have to be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Work schedule is from 06.00 am - 03.00 pm, Monday through Friday.
This Postion is in Fife, Washington.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
- Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse.
- Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized.
- Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed. Clean warehouse, counter area, bathrooms, etc.
- Know location of merchandise in warehouse. Keep material organized and put away.
- Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of merchandise in warehouse.
- Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired.
- Notate back orders or discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
- Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required
- Assist in performance of year-end physical inventories for various branch locations.
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
- Must maintain an insurable driving record.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid state driver license with clean driving record.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Flexible work schedule (which may include nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary with possibility for mandatory overtime.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Desire to succeed in a high growth, fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Forklift certificate is not required but appreciated. Reach Lift experience a bonus
- Comfortable to work at elevated heights.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Constant use of hand truck to lift, move and place deliveries.
- Must be able to safely tolerate heat or other inclement weather.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material. Apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks. The employee is required to be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and/or wire-cutting machine
