This role specifically supports: product handling practices, weekly quality meetings, response to Condition on Arrival (COA) reports, problem solving, training, coaching and mentoring operators.
**Major Responsibilities:**
Job requirements may include the following where applicable:
- Training new hires and refresher training with all associates
- Performing visual observations of material handling activities on a daily, multi-shift basis. Submit observations to management.
- Evaluate Loading & Unloading techniques with written documentation and digital photographs. Materials should be used for building-wide communication program on "Always & Nevers" of product handling.
- Observe and monitor clamp condition.
- Coordination and oversight of Inbound Damage Audits and audits requested by RQM's or management and White glove inspections.
- Observe arrival conditions of inbound loads and audit outbound loads. Analyze both for root cause and post findings on Condition On Arrival (COA) APP site. Review all COA's posted for outbound loads, analyze for root cause and post findings.
- Conduct Stack Lean Measurements and understand causes of Stack Failures. Conduct handling testing per request from RQM or management.
- Support Quality Management Team and Regional Quality Manager process improvement activities.
- Participate in all quality forums and drive Continuous Improvement activities
- Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
**Qualifications:**
- 1 year of general office and warehouse experience required with computer experience.
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- 1 year of supervisory experience and Ability to direct and coach others effectively
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience using computer applications such as Google Sheets and Excel
- Some level of quality or continuous improvement experience preferred
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Solid organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Verbal and written communication skills and excellent with time management
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoups damages and determines if resalable or must be disposed of per government and U.S. Foodservice food safety requirements.
Performs light maintenance duties as assigned (i.e. replacement of light bulbs, collecting recyclable materials, paper and shrink wrap collection pickup, checking freezer and cooler for leaks or ice build up, etc.)

o Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
