• The Department is seeking a qualified Material Handler to select and stage products for customer orders, receive orders and put away products, control inventory, rotate stock, and perform general cleanup.

• Previous work experience in a warehouse environment is required.
• Knowledge of distribution center procedures.
• Including storage, layout, and item identification; the ability to utilize voice picking and radio frequency (RF) handheld devices is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skill in properly using material handling equipment (MHE), pallet jacks, standup end control riders (stackers), and forklifts.
• Experience with accurate product selection, palletization, and staging for outbound orders.
• Experience with receipt of inbound products.
• The ability to move and rotate products under standard operating procedures.
• The ability to conduct physical inventory counts; knowledge of warehouse safety regulations; and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• The ability to work as part of a team and individually without constant supervision.

Monday-Friday
Starting Pay: $17-$19 based on experience

Responsibilities

• Build mixed pallet orders for retail delivery
• Load and unload trucks using ride on pallet jack and forklift
• Assist in counting inventory as directed
• Repack damaged products as directed
• Stock warehouse in an efficient manner ensuring proper stock rotation
• Repetitive manual handling of half barrels, quarter barrels and cases of beer
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Forklift Certification is preferred
• Flexibility with schedule

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. • Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory.

• Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers' instructions.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
• Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies.
• Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required.
• Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.

• Accurately receive/label products via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld RF equipment.
• Safely and accurately move products to inventory stock locations using handheld RF equipment.
• Safely and accurately move products from reserve to picking locations while meeting established productivity and efficiency performance standards.
• Accurately read and apply picking labels to cases from stock locations for outbound orders.
• Safely and accurately move products from inventory stock locations to staging lanes or conveyor induct stations.
• Accurately follow RF or voice-directed picking instructions to select the required product/quantities.
• Participate in counting of physical inventory.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Immediately report the breakage to the supervisor.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicates hazards or suggests improvements to manager.
• Arrive to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
• Meet established goals and objectives.
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Warehouse environment; may be subjected to loud noise, temperature, and weather extremes.

• Pallet jack, forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, RF device, voice pick system, time clock, office equipment (including computer/printer, fax, photocopier, calculator, and telephone).

• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, sitting, standing, frequent lifting, and moving up to 50 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within six months of hire; Certified forklift operator preferred.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.
• Must be able to work extended daily hours as business volume requires.
• Must be able to work all holiday hours as the posted schedule requires.

Essential Functions

• Receives all inbound orders into WMS: spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film, labels, UPS deliveries, Federal Express deliveries, water transfer as needed
• Rebuilds damaged pallets prior to restock
• Processes RMA's
• Consolidates finished goods storage for maximum storage capabilities
• Identifies, reports and observes quality issues with finished goods and RMS
• Validates new SKU's in WMS to ensure proper LGV storage and handling
• Corrects LGV alarms
• Monitors Loads
• Unloads finished goods and raw material deliveries utilizing a forklift
• Maintains pallet storage area; offloads pallets from trailers and stage for LGV's to pick up
• Corrects product spills
• Manually pulls pallets from production as needed
• Supplies production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels etc.)
• Air Bag Loads
• Clears up blocked locations in WMS
• May be required to operate a forklift when needed
• Facilitates the flow of information between logistics, production and sales to ensure timely and accurate service to customer base
• Tests and monitors resin and spring water
• Coordinates preload activities including inspecting trailers to ensure all loads are completed on time
• Checks in trucks and communicates loading instructions to forklift drivers
• Provides correct loading document/bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility
• Maintains appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control
• Involvement in continued process improvement and cost reduction
• Maintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
• Answers/makes phone calls using proper phone etiquette
• Communicates with inside and outside contacts to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot any issues
• Coordinates with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as scheduled
