Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors and associates, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage solutions, and material flow to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Identify and implement technological solutions (e.g., WMS, automation) to enhance warehouse performance.
- Manage warehouse budget, control costs, and identify areas for savings.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Provides leadership by example while overseeing all aspects of operation. Responsible for learning and understanding all aspects involved in the operation of the Picking Department, as well as working with a high degree of accuracy.
- Responsible for delivering merchandise to the customer in a courteous, professional and cooperative manner; assists customer in whatever way needed.
- Reports any shipping errors to management.
- Maintains all documentation neatly and completes paperwork daily.
- Lifting and stacking of product weighing up to 70 pounds or more (with help as needed).
