What You Bring to the Table:

  • Ability to work 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm on Second shift 7:00 am to 3:30pm on First shift, Monday through Friday.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, clamps, and overhead cranes and earn certification within 60 days of hire
  • Physical ability to independently move/lift 50 lbs., work in environments with uncontrolled climate, and use your hands frequently throughout the day
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools

Day-To-Day:

Our Cylinder Refurbisher - RTC Operator works under the direction of our production supervisor to perform timely, high-quality work. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Refurbishing incoming and outgoing cylinders
  • Using various equipment to test, blast, band, and paint cylinders
  • Inspecting finished cylinders to check quality and verify they meet client specifications, internal requirements, and industry regulations
  • Certifying cylinders as needed
  • Maintaining product documentation and accurately handling non-conformities
  • Reading labels and interpreting color-coding to learn about cylinder contents and gas hazards

and team-building skills. Superb leadership capabilities. Change management, conflict resolution,
vendor partnership management, and data-driven decision making.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations,
including 3 years in leadership capacity in a healthcare environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or related discipline)

Qualifications

The Supply Chain (Procurement/Logistics)   Intern should have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Flexible and organized work style to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to adapt in fast-changing environment
  • High level of motivation and ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Detail oriented work style with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

  • You're pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (logistics, purchasing/sourcing, operations, and transportation)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required.
  • Previous internships considered a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. (O-I does not sponsor working visas for internships).
  • Targeted graduation date range: December 2026 and May 2027

About the role:

In this role, the intern has the opportunity to assist and learn key aspects of O-I business in the area of Supply Chain. Assignments and duties are driven by business needs in all four areas of Supply Chain and will vary given business needs. Assignments could include one or more projects within the following areas: Buying and Expediting, Invoice Resolution (root cause analysis), Market Intelligence for Sourcing events, Spend Analysis, Master Data Analysis, Material Inventory Tracking, Procurement and Business Process Reviews, Freight tendering, Transportation spend data analysis, and more.

Reporting Relationships:  The position reports to the Logistics/Procurement Leader

This is a hybrid position , offering a mix of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility to support your success and development.

During the internship, you’ll:
