As an Equipment Operator I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the fulfillment of customer orders. Job Title: Equipment Operator I

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Pay Range: $16.29 per hour - $19.50 per hour

Shift: Sunday thru Thursday, 8 PM to 4:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Hand select orders within various warehouse environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer.
• Operate assigned Sysco Order Selection (SOS) unit to create and correctly place labels on products.
• Stack products on pallets following proper selecting procedures.
• Engage an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products safely.
• Adhere to sanitation requirements and follow SyscoSafe preferred work methods at all times.

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.
• 12 months of warehouse experience preferred.
• 12 months of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.
• Ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard.
• Must be able to lift products weighing up to 100 pounds regularly.

Must Have Skills:

Day-to-Day Summary:

Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.

Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision.

Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order (PO) receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor (RMS) activities).

Ensures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.

Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity.

Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process.

Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.

Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures

Compensation:

$9/hr to 24/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
