Requirements:

**Pay Details:** $16.50 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Counter/Warehouse Associate to support our HVAC wholesale operations. This hybrid position plays a critical role in both customer-facing sales support and back-end warehouse logistics. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience with inventory and order processing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Counter / Customer Service:
- Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers in a professional, courteous manner.
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing accurate product and technical information.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Process customer transactions including orders, quotes, returns, and special requests through POS or ERP system.
- Communicate availability, pricing, promotions, and delivery status with customers.
- Work with contractors, technicians, and internal team members to fulfill product needs.
Order Fulfillment / Inventory Handling:
- Accurately pick products for counter, phone, and online sales orders using a barcoded inventory system .
- Stage, pack, and process outbound shipments for delivery or pickup.
- Inspect incoming freight for accuracy and damage; document and report discrepancies.
- Load delivery and transfer trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform periodic cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory in the warehouse.
- Keep warehouse and counter area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building supply highly desired .
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, parts, and tools is a plus .
- Experience with barcode scanning and warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one (company provided).
- Must be able to frequently lift over 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- Combination of indoor counter environment and warehouse work.
- Frequent lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Must be able to frequently lift over 50 lbs. safely using proper techniques and/or equipment.
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season and warehouse conditions.
- Occasional overtime based on business needs.
Pay Range: $18+ DOE

Working Conditions:
This position operates in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. + Use computer and RF guns to manage sales orders, inventory and enter information into business management system
+ Participate in cycle counting of physical inventory
+ Open boxes and other containers
+ Operate wire cutter to cut wire according to customer orders
+ Operate forklift in warehouse setting
+ Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
+ Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
+ Assist customers at will call and walk-ins as required
