Position Purpose:

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.   • Verify incoming shipments against PO orders and shipping documents for accuracy. Inspect quality of the load by examining products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors, while safely unloading trucks using material handling equipment

  • Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders. Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and/or remove outdated out of date inventory according to company policy.

  • Inspects empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area.

  • Efficiently and safely loading trucks with products, ensuring that items are securely placed and organized for transportation.

We have a great opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team! You will ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting and assistance with general maintenance of the warehouse.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Compensation: $22/hr

We are looking for associates who:
  • Pick, check, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
  • Load, unload, and move materials and supplies using safety equipment, hand trucks, and front-end loaders/forklifts.
  • Receive, check in and store inventory in a safe manner and ensuring the quality and quantity of products.
  • Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment
  • Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
  • Record damaged or defective materials
What you bring:
  • Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacket, and wire cutting machine. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
  • Ability to continuously lift materials up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.

OVERVIEW:

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll not only handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility, but you'll dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 2315 Creekside Pkwy, Lockbourne, OH 43137. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Managing and maintaining branch inventory

o Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory

o Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary

o Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

o Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work

o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed

o Proficient written and oral communication skills

o Proficient computer skills

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
