What you will be doing:

• Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials
• Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves, or conveys order to packing station or shipping department

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• Ability to use hands, sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk or hear
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments

The warehouse associate is responsible for general warehouse operations support, such as order picking, palletizing, order consolidation, inventory counts, and warehouse assistance.

Warehouse Associate Job Summary:

• 1 st and 2 nd shift
• Monday - Friday
• Overtime may be required if needed
• 1 st shift hours - 6am-2:30pm
• 2 nd shift hours - 2:30pm-11pm
• Pays $18.00 to start
• .75 shift premium for 2 nd shift

• Daily order picking and fulfillment from customer orders provided by the warehouse lead and supervisor
• Scan products, palletize orders according to instructions, and prepare for wrapping and shipping
• Execute inventory cycle counts
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Order packing, consolidation, and order verifications
• Provide general warehouse support as needed, such as organizing products, and maintaining clean and safe work areas

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a warehouse preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Experience and competence with computers and RF scanners
• Ability to use a pallet jack
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds on their own, use hands to grasp or handle objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, talk, and hear. Job Purpose

Maintain the flow of stocked and delivered inventory by pulling material from bins, loading material onto trucks, placing new material arrivals into bins, and scanning or entering the data into the inventory database.

Salary Range

• $18.50 - $21.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.

Responsibilities

Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks.

• Inspect material for minimum MRC Global quality requirements.

• Stock and transfer materials, tools, and equipment to the appropriate shelf, bin, rack, or pipe bundle by a predetermined sequence, including bind location, size, type, style, and length.

• Mark the materials with the correct identifying information.

• Transfer materials to and from the shops for modification purposes.

• Assemble customer orders from stock and package orders in boxes and pallets as per customer requirements.

• Pull orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfer.

• Load onto the correct truck or transfer to the packing area using a forklift, overhead crane, and heavy equipment.

• Prepare documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air Shipments.

• Adhere to required safety policies, guidelines, and training.

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and customer safety policies.

• Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others

• Report workplace hazards, injuries, or illnesses immediately.

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Any combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree).

• Ability to learn MRC Global, federal, health and safety regulations.

• Typing and basic computer skills.

• Knowledge of or ability to learn MRC Global warehouse operations and business processes.

• Basic math and good reading skills.

• Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.

• Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries.

• Ability to understand and comply with MRC guidelines and expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.

Working Conditions

• All duties are performed in a Warehouse environment.

• Physical activity/exertion is routine.

• Able to lift 25-50 pounds overhead.

• May be exposed to loud noises.

• Able to work overtime and weekends.

This position is a member of the location warehouse team responsible for order pulling, inbound receiving, housekeeping and other warehouse tasks. This role is also responsible for working closely with the team and supervisor to ensure all assigned tasks are done timely and accurately. The role requires excellent communication skills, sense of urgency, and consistent timely follow up.
50% order selecting, put away and scanning; 40% - Housekeeping; 10%- Other warehouse tasks. Keen sense of safety and to abide by all safety rules and regulations. Equipment operating (reach truck (certified) and pallet Jack); Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

Job Title: Level 3 - Warehouse Associate
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 90 days (NOT temp to hire, but potential for conversion after 3months)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Location Details: 100% ONSITE IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT

*Candidate required to provide their own steel toe shoes. Dress code is jeans (no rips, tears, etc.) and hoodless sweatshirt, recommended. Cargill will provide necessary cold weather gear (coat/hat/gloves)

Requirements:
1. Standup forklift experience PREFERRED
2. Ability to lift up to 100lbs unassisted
3. Must be able to work in a cold environment CONSISTENTLY - 32/0 degrees
4. Minimum HS education or equivalent
5. Candidates motivated for long term, continued employment HIGHLY PREFERRED - please phone screen your candidates!

Schedule Details:
1. Training: M-F, 8am to completion usually 5pm, occasionally later)
2. Normal schedule after training: Sunday (7am to completion, around 5pm), M-Th (3pm to shift end)
3. OT as needed
** Please note the expectation to work until the tasks have been completed for the day, rather than hard-stop end time. As an example if 5pm comes and there is still work to be completed, Cargill expects worker to sometimes stay to complete required daily tasks.
