**Amazon Air Associate**
**Job Overview**
You're on your way to joining Amazon Air and being part of the dedicated team that sorts packages in the warehouse or loads packages onto the aircraft - helping ensure customers receive their orders on time. **Duties & Responsibilities**
**Some of your duties may include**
1. Load and unload aircraft and trucks; a valid driver's license is required for specific shifts
2. Remove tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading
3. Prepare packages for sortation and load onto containers
4. Weigh, label, or make/break-down gaylords or air containers
**You will also need to be able to do:**
1. Lift up to 49 pounds
2. Handle, move, and stack boxes
3. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
4. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, and other gear to move items around
5. Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
6. Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
7. Work outdoors in different weather conditions
**What it's like at an Amazon Air Station**

2. **Surroundings.** You may be working around moving machines - order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, mobile carts, and aircraft, in the gateway and on the tarmac.

4. **Temperature.** Even with climate controls, temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F in some parts of the warehouse; on hot days, temperatures can be over 90°F in the truck yard or inside trailers.
5. **Noise level.** It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.
6. **Dress code.** Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and protective safety footwear are required in select business units. As a Warehouse Associate at Duluth Trading Company, you may perform a variety of tasks:

• Accurately pick and pack merchandise for online customer orders
• Accurately move product throughout the facility
• Replenish primary warehouse bin locations as needed to meet customer service levels
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive work environment

In order to be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Successful candidates do not require previous distribution/warehouse experience to qualify
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week required full-time equivalent hours may be available during peak times 
• Walk or stand for your entire work shift
• Lift 30 lbs. on average, 40 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally
• Frequently reach, twist, and bend in multiple directions, including continuous arm, hand, and wrist movements
• Push/pull a cart and/or pallet of up to five hundred pounds
• Fluctuating warehouse noise level and temperature
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Candidates are subject to pre-employment background checks
• Candidates hired for safety-sensitive positions must comply with pre-employment drug testing requirements
